we were given a chance to change the order (they tried to get
us to buy a different case instead) and I didn't realise that
we'd no longer want that PSU. So this is my fault, and I'm
pretty sure they don't have to refund us.
I have managed to find the original case we wanted: <a

I can't find any stores in Australia, although it is listed in

Now, unless we actually have changed our mind and want a
different case now (sigh), I can buy that one.
Please let me know ASAP if there are any objections.
I have been "authorised" to return the existing PSU but we will incur a

I'll post it tomorrow or on Friday if committee doesn't complain.

$988 ex GST.
Meaning just under $1100 inc.
720W PSU
Is anything happening with the return of out existing PSU matches?
Thanks,

Since no one has responded with other case suggestions, I am taking it as we
want this case, and so will bring it up at the committee meeting tonight.

Thanks for finding that.
I'll see if TechBuy will agree to us returning the PSU.
I am in favour of increasing the budget. However right now we don't really
have the money to buy the remaining parts, so they may have to wait until
after O'Day.
We could make a call for member donations. I don't really like to do this
since members pay us lots of money in membership and drinks already, but
it's an option.

I have spoken to DigiCor and they have quoted $1199.00 ex. + $25.00 freight.
I am not sure if that freight is them shipping to us or not. But in total it
comes to $1343.90. This is us getting it with either all low Profile slots,
or a mix of low profile and full height cards. This case also comes with a
900W redundant power supply that we cannot get removed.
This compares to $1113 for the case and 460W power supply that we have
budgeted for. We unfortunately have already ordered the PSU, so without
returning it cannot afford to order this case.
Has anyone else looked at other cases and do you have suggestions?
If we go for this case we either need to return the PSU we have ordered, get
committee to increase our budget but $500 (breathing room) or acquire money
another way to be able to afford it.
