We have almost no idea who has any of the keys to anything (of course, this allows us to almost correctly estimate the momentum of said keys). Nick has been updating the key registry: http://www.ucc.asn.au/infobase/keys.ucc If you currently have a key to something, can you please email committee@ucc.asn.au to say what keys you have, and who you got them from. The idea is to try and build up an accurate picture of who has what, and who they got it from, rather then having to change the locks. A (*) will indicate that this is already on the register. Please feel free to also give free form comments. Eg. Like a Frankensteinien monster, they were build from the parts of lesser Laserwriters as required to keep them running on day longer. This ends now. The committee has decided to approve the purchase of a Hewlett-Packard LaserJet 1320N. A black and white laser printer with JetDirect (network) capabilities. This printer comes highly recommended. We're looking for $206 in donations to purchase this printer. In commemoration of your donation you will received a limited edition printout of all the people who donated, as signed by Bernard Blackham, designer of the way-cool, k-rad Cryopid process freezer (*). Susie Hellings [SJH] has already donated $6 ;) Help make printing better for everyone, and remove the need to walk to EE and suffer the fate of low print quota. --davyd madeley 2005 UCC Secretary (*) actual printout not guaranteed -- Davyd Madeley http://www.davyd.id.au/ PGP Fingerprint 08B0 341A 0B9B 08BB 2118 C060 2EDD BB4F 5191 6CDA From davyd at madeley.id.au Tue Apr 26 13:12:21 2005 From: davyd at madeley.id.au (Davyd Madeley) Date: Tue Apr 26 13:12:51 2005 Subject: [ucc-announce] Donation Target Reached In-Reply-To: <1114418916.7103.20.camel@pingu.madeley.id.au> References: <1114418916.7103.20.camel@pingu.madeley.id.au> Message-ID: <1114492341.7103.26.camel@pingu.madeley.id.au> [davyd@mussel ~]$ ./parse-donations.py printer-donations.txt -- |**| |**| |**| Printer Donations |**| ----------------- |**| |**| $206.00 of $206.00 donated (100%) |**| |**| |****| email committee-only@ucc.asn.au to donate |****| ---- Thanks to Zoe Wadsworth, James French, Nick Bannon, Matt Johnston, Jen McCutcheon, Trent Lloyd, Comrade, Susie Hellings, Grahame Bowland, David Adam, Jonathan Wan and Adrian Chadd for donating to the new printer.
