$ host -t soa com.au
com.au SOA ns1.ausregistry.net. dns.ausregistry.net.au. 2007097219 14400 3600 3600000 86400
Therefore you could try e-mailing dns at ausregistry.net.au, as they
control the com.au zone file in which the dodgy glue records reside.
(This is a different kettle of fish to the NS records present in
the registry AFAIK.) Does anyone know if and how often glue records
are updated from the registry? After the TTL runs out, perhaps?
(Try "host -v -t ns <domain> ns1.ausregistry.net" to get the TTL.)

I'm with Distribute.IT <http://www.distributeit.com.au>. They seem
sane, and allow self-management of domains registered using OpenSRS.
