[ucc] Free Dialup Accounts for Freshers?

Howdy Y'all

I was going to put this in the other thread about the Fresher CD/DVD but I
didn't want it to get lost in the noice.

I was considering contacting iiNet (as I work there), but we should contact
other WA ISP's if necessary, about getting a few dozen complementary Dialup
packages to be lent out to freshers (maybe any member) for a year at a time.
UWA charges for dialup at pretty horrible rates, and we should try compete
with that, with regards to people who have no other alternative but dialup.
Most people will just ignore the idea of free dialup, but there are still
students without any internet access, and if we make them lent on request, a
student with no other alternative would be happy to have free internet.
I was thinking, if we keep the Dialup accounts under the name of UCC, say
ucc_dialup_01 thru ucc_dialup_30, if the accounts were waived, or paid by
the ISP (which could be considered a tax-break, or something, for them), and
at the end of the year we can just change the password through
administrative means and control automatically reverts to us.

Would this be something we should investigate?
Would people want me talking with my superiors at iiNet after New Years to
try and organise this?
