[ucc] username standards in big corporate places

In 2001 (iirc) we moved to "Standard Usernames", which worked out to  
surname (first 5 chars) + first initial + sequence. The solution you  
presumably were involved with was not desired by the University  
because you got non-standard username construction, bad collision  
avoidance, etc. Too much personality :P
