Which is a 21.5" monitor. Supposedly, the 24" are best for productivity, 
without being so large as to cripple you if they topple on top of you. 
That said I haven't seen any studying comparing 22" and 24", so 22" 
could be just as good so far as I know (it is what i use. It is large 
enough that I find it annoying that Ubuntu doesn't seem to have any easy 
way of horizontally tiling windows). And full HD (1920x1080) is pretty 
good for 22".

The cheapest 24" I've seen is $318+$36 (though I haven't looked very hard):
