President's Report
------------------
- Thanks to [DJA] for dealing with SOC council
   - We obtained a formal warning for the painting of the stairwell
   - We were reimbursed for the painting
- Thanks [MRD] for dealing with the "power stuff" (see [MRD]'s report)
- Bought a UPS
- Welcome to Committee 2011


Vice-President's Report
-----------------------
- Had a meeting with [MTL] with regards to fibre and power for Cameron Hall
- Tenancy Committee have approved new power point
- Talking with WestPac with regards to Internet Merchant Facility
- Free RSA training offered by the University, anyone who would like to take
   up this offer please speak to [MRD].


Treasurer's Report
------------------
- Been counting lots of money
- Guild account has $1,948.78
- WestPac cash reserve has $500.36
- WestPac community saver has $318.40
- Term Deposit is still $50,000


Secretary's Report
------------------
- Mail was checked.


Fresher Rep's Report
--------------------
- Freshers are happy.
- We have a good number of new freshers.


Machine Technical Reports
-------------------------
Servers:
- [BOB] "brutally crashed" Mylah by running `sensors -detect`, should be ok
   now, don't run `sensors -detect` in future.

Network:
- University is running single mode fibre to Guild Comms room for a new Unifi
   access point
   - Fibre running the next few weeks
   - Access Point likely sometime after this
   - ITS is not keen to move us across
   - New network being created in Q4 and should be moved over then
   - Concerns raised with regards to the clubroom moving and asked to be moved
     over as soon as possible.
- Network has been running well and no changes have been made.

Desktops:
- [ASH] and [MRD] looking at steam on napoli
- Humpback has a new screen, old screen put on Red
- Pluto blew up (this was the computer on the project bench)
   - Either a motherboard or dodgy RAM issue

New Equipment:
- Got a scanner, Canon 8800F
   - Thanks to [BOB] for his generous donation
- Got one UPS with a battery expansion pack

Drinks and Snacks
-----------------
- We need lots of both
- Definitely need Vanilla Coke


Mail, Guild and SOC
-------------------
- Has Tenancy Council meeting
   - [DJA] attended
   - Tenancy committee gave us a formal warning for repainting the Cameron Hall
     stairwell
   - We were reimbursed for the costs of the painting
   - All relevant documentation has been sent to committee@ list
- [TPG] to attend SOC meeting

Action Items
------------
- [BOB]/[TPG] to send email to ucc@ with information on the new dispense
   system.
   - Not done.
- [MRD]/[BOB] to work on sponsorships / partnerships for UCC
   - Deferred.
- [DJA] to email ucc@ with constitution issues and proposed fixes.
   - Done, approved at AGM


General Business
----------------
- [ASH] Club Steam accounts
   - Valve has offered accounts in the past with all their games
   - Valve Cafe is another option
   - [ASH] to investigate club steam accounts
- [SZM] robotics competition
   - This is a fantastic idea
   - [SZM] to refine ideas for robotics competition and present to committee
     - [DJA] to assist
- [ASH] When is the Easter LAN?
   - 23rd/24th of April
- [BOB] PLUG event in the loft on April 12
   - Wanted to see if this is ok to have the event there
   - Committee is happy with this
   - [BOB] to book loft for the PLUG event on April 12
   - UCC Members are welcome to attend, more info will be sent
   - PLUG is having a Quiz Night on March 28th, details on PLUG website
- [BOB] Purchase http://www.e-itx.com/epia-m840-ep50.html as a replacement
   mermaid (postage to be discussed too)
   - This product is no longer offered, plan to purchase motherboard and case
     individually
   - [BOB] to email tech@ with details on new plan for new mermaid
   - [BOB] approval for up to $600 for new mermaid, [LOL] seconds
     - Unanimous.
- [BOB] confirm $400 for UPS purchase
   - [LOL] seconds
   - Unanimous.
- [BOB] term deposit matures on the 20th March, what do we want to do?
   - 6.60% for 60 month term deposit exists
     - Interest paid monthly, no penalty for exiting early however
   - Would like to put the $500 from the Cash Reserve Account into this also
   - [BOB] motions to put $50,500 into the term deposit mentioned above
     - [LOL] seconds
     - Unanimous 
- [MRD] Door Application from [POT]
   - Has done LOLDOG with satisfactory answers
   - [CJS] moves to place [POT] on Door, [SZM] seconds
     - 5 for, 2 against, 1 abstain
     - Motion passed
- [MRD] WinAdmin application - [SLX] (nominated by [MRD])
   - [LOL] motions to put [SLX] on WinAdmin, [MRD] seconds, unanimous.
- [MRD] Installation of 15A power socket by ODG for UPS ($580 ex GST)
   - Issues raised with moving - not likely to happen until at least early
     2012, so it's not a major issue
   - Quote is total, not broken down into parts/services
   - [LOL] motions to approve this quote, [DJA] seconds, unanimous.
- [BOB] renew and modify standing order that the treasurer can reimburse up to
$250 per week on consumables without seeking further approval
   - [LOL] motions to continue this and raise it to $250 a week, [MRD] seconds,
     unanimous.
- Stupidly powerful light has been replaced with nice fluro lights, Huzzah!
- [MRD] the AGM minutes fail to list [NTU] and [CUE] as present, this is going
   to be rectified.
   - [LOL] to fix this.
- [BOB] motions to spend $150 on security gear for new scanner and some screens
   - [LOL] seconds, unanimous.
