Xstrata Australia - Graduate Programme (2013 Intake)

Xstrata's graduate programme operates over two years after completing a bachelor degree at either an open cut/underground site, processing plant or our divisional offices.
We encourage our graduates to learn and develop with us. Our programme allows graduates to accelerate their career through rotations, exposing them to a wide variety of projects and experiences, along with further training through our structured professional development programme.

We aim to build a pool of professionals who are capable of making an independent contribution to the business; with relevant skills, competencies and potential to become technical and/or managerial leaders in the future.



Xstrata Australian-wide Scholarship Opportunities
Applications Open: 1 March 2012
Applications Close: 1 April 2012
Valued at $10,000 per annum to support students from 2nd year university through to the completion of the bachelor degree while gaining invaluable experience through our vacation employment programme. Disciplines include mining, mechanical, electrical, chemical, environmental and metallurgical engineering as well as surveying, environmental science, occupational health and safety and geosciences.
