From corin.rowell at me.com Mon May 2 20:08:04 2016 From: corin.rowell at me.com (Corin Rowell) Date: Mon, 02 May 2016 20:08:04 +0800 Subject: [Unisfa] UniSFA Committee Meeting Minutes 28/04/16 Message-ID: <912AF07F-7366-44D7-8EDE-BCD7CD4FDF5E@me.com> Hey everyone! Okay these minutes are really late because I was crazy sick this weekend? But we had a meeting on Thursday and there was no agenda to email out beforehand so I didn?t email one out. But minutes! Anyway? Things for your eyes: - Cameron Hall Quiz Night! This is a thing and it is going to be this Friday in the Tav, please please come to that because it will be a lot of fun and there are super cool prizes you could win as well as fun times to be had. It?ll be good. Screenings for this week: Monday: I am currently at Brooke?s horror movie screening, I shoulda sent this out earlier oops Tuesday: Game of Thrones TV Show with Cat (6pm) Wednesday: ???? with Toby Thursday: Book Nerds with Jake and Ed (5pm) Friday: Cheesy Movie Night with Tim (6pm) Okay now onto the minutes. UniSFA Committee Meeting 28/04/16 Attending: Toby Joske, Leah Chappell, Corin Rowell, Tim Haig, Christopher Larson, Jake Alexander, Jono Astbury Absences: Pattycake Patrick Agenda - Committee Reports - Camp location - Lockbox - Clubroom Improvement - Screenings - Book theme - Events - Moneybox - Sleep more - General Business Begin: 4:05 1. Committee Reports President Toby has done things. She bought quiz nights tickets, made a post in the Facebook page about trash because we have to take out the trash more. Everyone died in Telltale Game of Thrones. :( Vice President Idfk. LARPmittee meeting happened. Leah talked to Casey in Guild Events about LARP. Got money for the sponsor crawl this weekend. The Busy bee happened, Corin went to the tenancy meeting and helped clean and we love Corin (Me: Awwwwww Leah) and we did library things which was also nice. Secretary I?m really fucking tired and also sick please be nice to me I am losing time within myself I don?t know what time is I am losing control of my fingers and my lips stutter over certain words death is coming I feel their cold embrace. Also I got cute penguin stickers and everyone should look at them [see below]. Treasurer We still have money. Tim did some stuff. Toby remembers that Tim did a bunch of stuff. Also finished all midsems. Librarian We had library day after busy bee, and we put in all of the backlog. It?s all up there on the shelves now. Toby says we?re heroes. The booklist is done for sponsor crawl. Have messaged all the sponsors. Also reggie is sick and tired. Fresher Rep Chris is not sick. He?s done just the usual. Sorted out quiz night table also. OCM Report - Jake Jake feels wonderful and loves being healthy. He dyed his hair and looks like 16 going on 17. He is doing quiz night stuff that is happening, also he signed up a member (Me: If you sign up new members please tell me so I can put them on the memberlist). If you know people around sign them up that?ll be nice. Yup cool yep nice nice yep cool yep ok. OCM Report - Jono Quiz night?s happening and Jono is writing questions. Has sent through ice skating EMP and risk management (thank you copy and paste) but was told do do it again because all the info disappeared. Also gotta put up more posters in the clubroom. OCM Report - Patrick Patrick is lovely. 2. Camp Location Leah has an excel sheet cos Leah?s method of coping with stress is to do things. Things such as excel spreadsheets. Our four choices are: Lesch, Quarunup, DARE, Woodman?s Point. Can we rule out Quarunup? Why? Well, It?s expensive and in Albany. Yes ok it?s ruled out. So we have three choices now. So we go through all the camp options in turn. Bunking at Lesch: there are 5 dorm rooms of various sizes. A fire pit is outside and there?s one big rec room which can be sectioned into different areas. There a reasonable number of beds to dorm rooms. Then there?s the kitchen. It?s a 1 hour drive away and it has water but all the options do. If we book then we get all the camp. The price has gone up to $30 per person per night, we heard. It?s self-catering with no additional cost for that. Toby says we need to consider that other camps go there (but they have different activities at a different time of year so ???) DARE?s dorms have living ares we could use as chill-out/screening areas. If we get less than 36 people we?d all go into the one bunk house. If we have more than 36 but not double that number (which is more likely) we?d just book out a little chalet and the bunk house. DARE?s decent in that we have the option to change up sleeping arrangement depending on numbers. How many beds per room? I didn?t hear the answer but people will be in bunkbeds? It?s all in one room which we think which is a bit :\ With Woodman?s Point, we may have to book out the day area if we get the 60-person room. But they do have a rec room, it?s just not as big as other places. The big bunkhouse is 60 beds in 15 bedrooms. Leah is questioning whether or not it?s worth it because catering is hard to do and shit but on the other hand we can get super discounted discounted foo like 3-5 bucks per person per meal. Also, Leah personally doesn?t want to cook. And who is even willing to talk to caterers? Leah is willing. What numbers are we getting? Impossible to tell at this point. We have a cap at 60, though. Important: Do camps allow people to bring alcohol and how do we manage that? Leah will call people in the following week to find out about that, but right now the important thing to consider is the minimum prices. We need to have enough people coming to make those prices. Toby says we can adjust the cost of tickets to try and cover it. Toby thinks DARE allows alcohol? Reggie says we can do that thing that UniGames does where campers hand in alcohol to committee members and then ask ?hey can I get booze.? That could work at DARE if he have committee/trusted people rooming in the chalet and looking after alcohol. This are minor details and Leah wants to know who to contact before we talk about this in detail. Tim thinks DARE sounds good but he also likes Lesch because camps have happened there before and we know it. Leah likes Lesch but her next choice would be DARE I like Woodman?s Point because it?s not too far and I am very tired and don?t like leaving my house also beach. Reggie wouldn?t like to share ?living spaces?. Leah can call DARE and ask how beds are set out but also DARE may be booked out already because it?s popular. Toby worries about camp crossover but Jake says that shouldn?t be a problem. Toby likes Woodman?s Point. Leah points out if we don?t self-cater it?d be harder to control the alcohol, like we?d have no real way to keep it. We could keep alcohol in locked bedroom? What about inside someone?s car? Details details let?s just vote on our preferences. I suggest a ranking system ? la Four Weddings, where people rank things in order of preference and assign points (3 points for most preferred, 2 points for 2nd place, 1 point for last place). Voting is tallied as follows: Lesh: IIIII IIIII III - 13 DARE: IIIII IIIII IIIII IIIII I - 21 Woodman?s: IIIII IIIII IIII -14 So DARE. Leah will call DARE and find out the details and if they?re available. If DARE isn?t appropriate, she will call Woodman?s and so on. Yay we did it! 3. Lockbox Do we want to trust CCC with opening the room again? Reggie says she?s noticed that when people have to go to the Guild for the key it has a problem with the key being misplaced and people just are generally lazy about getting it or putting it back. If we trust them with the room we should be able to trust them to open the room. And we can just keep the key in the lockbox on the brown cupboard. We can have them post when they?re opening the room so we know if people are scrambling the lockbox code. We apparently did that once but people forgot. Let?s just remind them. All in favour? Unanimous yes yes. Can we also get another lock for the brown cupboard? We?ll bring that up later. 4. Clubroom Improvement There?s a lot here. Jono needs tape to put up nice posters. Where shall we put them? We want ceiling posters! Just gotta tape them up really really well. It may damage the paint but the paint is already damaged pretty much everywhere. Kake is against damaging the clubroom also damaged paint is gross. We have 4 posters and room for 2 on the walls, so we can trial 2 posters on the ceiling. Frames has offered his laminator to laminate little GoT posters but we gotta trim the sides a little. UniPrint has a guillotine we can use for cheap. Chris can trim posters and put them in a little sleeve to hand to frames. That?s nice. Co we need more posters? No. Do we want more posters? Yes. Always. Toby wants the wasp portal gone so we can put posters over it. If we want to do that, please get wasp spray just in case. The last two tenancy meetings Cassie went to, they asked Guild to add the wasp portal to their maintenance orders but nothing happened. Who wants to talk to tenancy about this? Leah says dibs not it. Jake! Jake will talk to tenancy about whats the deal with the wasp portal. Jake fusses. Suck it up, Jake. Do we have a ladder? Yes. This is fine. People aren?t emptying the trash whyyyyyy. Please do that. If it?s still not getting done in a week or so we?ll consider giving people a free drink if they empty the trash ? la UniGames. Patrick came! Hurrah. Calendar. Leah wants a calendar because the events board is good but only has a week?s space. We can have a calendar to plan things out like screenings and things in coming weeks, and also have events on alternating weeks like book club and arts nights which are easier to plan out month-by-month. Where shall we put the calendar? It needs a position where it?s easy to read. Maybe put it where the book reviews are now? That?s good. What type of calendar? What about fluffy dogs! that?s not sci-fi? Let?s just draw little antennae on them and make them alien dogs. We can look for calendars on sponsor crawl. (Me: We now have a shiny Tolkien calendar.) Locks! The secret cupboard needs a lock because we don?t have a key for it and it just opens anyway because it?s a shit cupboard. We need a new lock and a new bolt. Do we talk to tenancy? No, call security and they will cut the lock off. That will probably cost money. Reggie can find out about that. Toby will be changing the brown cupboard lock code. The brown cupboard lock is old and stiff and dodgy. Can we replace it? Please? Or fix it? Jake is fixing the lock. Kust grease it up so it?s nice and easy to use. Toby will make an event to go through the brown cupboard and organise/throw things out. That?ll probably happen after the sponsor crawl. Make a post reminding people that the sponsor crawl is on. We want new couches! That costs money. Tim groans. We never buy coaches though, we just get other peoples? old couches. Prema is throwing out a sofa we think. We can replace one couch with a broken couch. Also really old couches are gross and lose integrity so you sink into them and you can?t leave. Shall we make a post asking for sofas? Or we can go to a rich suburb and see if anyone?s left out a dead couch. Some people on Gumtree give things away for free or for cheap so we can check gumtree after all that. It?s a thing maybe. 5. Screenings Will Monday or Tuesday be GoT day? We?re assuming Monday. But if we can?t get the episode quickly we?ll change it to Tuesday. Nic is happy to have his nostalgia screenings be fortnightly. We can switch them with book club and arts things. Monthly book nerds can be on the book theme of the while. Can we also look into moving nights it?s on? Maybe. Nic wants to screen Onepunch Man. Jake doesn?t like anime. We all like Onepunch Man. Jake thinks we should try to do stuff on weekends as well. We?ve done that and sometimes people say ?can I screen a thing? and toby says ?hey yes can you do that on the weekends?? Also, someone please tell tim to keep cheesy screenings related to scifi/fantasy? Okay I can text him about that. 6. Book Theme Wizards! Wizards? Wizaaards. Someone please make a new sign saying ?wizards? for the theme. Patrick says ?oh boy we got this?. He and Reggie got this. Can we put apocalypse reviews in the scrap book? Yes we can, that?s a good idea. Should the theme be wizards and magic? No. Just wizards. Magic encompasses all fantasy, lets limit it a bit. What about ?Books Jake doesn?t like?? Leah also says ?books that make you mad? should be the next theme and people say why they make them mad. Don?t post in the FB group about the new theme just yet. We want to have a book nerds on apocalypse/dystopia before the change. Don?t say theme ?of the month? make it ?of the while? cos it?s nice and fluid. 7. Events Sponsor Crawl It?s happening this Saturday will have money and discounts. Oh no, some sponsors asked for a reminder Leah forgot but she will do that tonight. Chris is making a post about it, so is Jono. They?re making posts in the middle of the committee meeting gosh we?re so on top of this. I?m tired, I?m not following what is said next but Jono has this it?s fine everything is fine. There?s nothing else we need to do. Look out for calendars. Reggie asks how much was agreed to be spent at sponsor crawl? $600. She will make a budget. Toby has a few books she wanted to add to the book list. Quiz Night Chris is doing Fresher tables, that good it?s gonna be neato. Toby forgot what she had to say? We have to buy prizes during the sponsor crawl. We also already have things we think?ll make good prizes. Leah is pretty sure that Quizmittee people have been told about this but she cant remember. Jono will be at sponsor crawl anyway so he can look at potential prizes. Fresher Re-Welcome This is a new idea but we wanna do a fresher thing. Fresher-focused. For freshers. Because they kinda slip through the cracks later in the semester. Ideally it?d be something with free food for freshers and other people pay a little for food if they want it. Chris, what do freshers like? Memes? Communism? Memes about communism? What about a nice barbecue and games and shit? Lets go to Matilda Bay foreshore, it?s free. Who wants to be in charge of that? Probably the fresher rep. Does Chris wanna do it alone or with people? Not leah, she has a lot to do. Reggie steps up. Maybe it can be a barbecue then cartoon screening? Thursdays should be free. It?ll be chill. Or it can be on a weekend if people want. Toby leaves that up to Reggie and Chris to decide. Destress We all need one, we really do. We may do a de-stress after the fresher re-welcome if that?s in between sponsor crawl and ice skating. Leah likes idea of some kind of activity then a screening in pyjamas. What about make a thing or destroy a thing? What about free milo? Yes. Please provide a lactose free version of milo. Leah and I like the idea of baking. What about a baking potluck? Leah says everything we do is screenings in the clubroom and I agree that some diversity would be nice. Maybe something like a crafternoon. Last years?s charity visual had a bunch of games that were nice. Toby is making a task force for this. It?s her, Pat, and me on the super cool top secret de-stress task force (code name incoming). Jono leaves for work. Ball Do we want one? Some people say yes, some say no. It shouldn?t be like last year?s ball but it would be nice to have an event where we go to the tav and wear whatever we want. Like a tav party? Tav party! So, like quiz night but not quiz night. Can we have party games??? Musical statues!!! Yes. Yes we can. We could set up a sub-committee for that. It?ll be later in second semester. Would it be just for UniSFA or for all of Cameron Hall? That will just change who?ll go on the subcommitee. Costs will come into this: it costs money to book out the tav and people made a loss on the Cameron Hall Ball last year. We don?t want a loss on this if it?s a thing, especially because we?re also trying to have a camp. Toby and Tim will look into this and see about costs/feasibility. LARP There was a meeting and this is possibly definitely going to happen. Surrounding Week Shall we do a thing in the week around LARP? Maybe weapons-making on Thursday, then on Friday we can have screenings and a VR demo and then go to glitch, then LARP will be on Saturday. Toby worries about expense. We can look into things like cost and shit. The pyjama slumber party could be around then, too. Maybe after weapons-making? Advertising Stuff So, Guild has an events newsletter. Shall we put events on there? Only things we want available to general public, like any tav party or the Cameron Hall quiz. Before an event, we should figure out if we want it open to the general public. Who wants to send an email finding out how to do that? Jono can do that. When we make events for our Facebook page, people can only see them if they?re in the group so it?s impossible to really put the word out about events. There?s really no way around that? Hmmm. The way to get around that would be to tell people to join the Facebook group. What about making event outside the UniSFA page? I don?t think we?re allowed? We?ll think about things. Maybe just say ?if ur interested please join the page? or something. 8. Moneybox Okay, Tim has a pros and cons list for moneybox versus moneybags. There are lots of cons on the bags list. Toby thinks Tim has a bias and reminds him that new things don?t magically fix old problems. Jake respectfully disagrees. Reggie says the moneybox was used for years and there?s a reason it was changed to moneybags. Also, we are not UniGames. We have a larger room with more stuff in it so a box would be harder to watch. Tim asks if we can please listen to his list and then discuss things? Okay. Pros to bags is that losing a bag means less money lost and we don?t need to empty bags as much. One problem may be that because we?re currently using this system it may be hard to see the pros. Anyone got other pros? It?s more convenient, lots of different people can take money meaning nobody needs to get up when someone buys things. What if we just don?t bolt the moneybox down? Did that last time and people just walked off with the box. Toby can see why a box works for UniGames but their clubroom is set up very differently to ours. And if we trust CCC with the room then we should trust them with the moneybags. Patrick points out that personal and impersonal items are different levels of ?I want to steal? so money tends to get stolen if it?s sitting around more than, say, someone?s bag. Jake says that there were ?baddies? before in UniSFA when that happened and we have different people now so hmm idk. What about putting the box in view of camera? Ehhhhh? Nic suggested not bolting the box down but sitting it next to the person holding the room. Like how it runs during charity visual. If we can trust the CCC to open the room, we should trust them with the money. Also, the thing with moneybox isn?t just making sure we don?t lose moneybags but also making sure people have change. What if CCC is closing at the end of the day? Should we have them leave it in the room? In view of camera? That way, if it goes missing, we know only some people could have entered the room. If CCC get access to the moneybox, shall they also get access to the brown cupboard? Hmmmm? Don?t rely on the camera, Toby says. Whats the most amount a moneybag can get up to? Some people can have $20 notes in their bags from people putting money on their books. The little yellow box in UniGames may not have that much in it because larger notes go in a separate place. Pros and cons are actually gonna be attached at the bottom of the minutes because fuck typing. Looking at money bags, we maybe haven?t lost that much money. Leah does remember a few times when people came in, wanted a drink, haven?t been able to get change, and gone to UniGames instead. I?m getting kinda grumpy now, we keep having this same argument again and again. Jake thinks we should be able to trust CCC with a moneybox. Toby says this shouldn?t be a problem and having a moneybox won?t be a big magical fix-all. As an aside, we should implement the new key-in-the-lockbox system before the moneybox idea. So two-weeks trial of lockbox. UniGames has a little yellow box on the table for change, a box bolted to the wall for large notes, and a big box in their cupboard for total earnings. So two boxes in their clubroom. We could do something like that, potentially. Toby says buying a lockable box is a big expense. Tim points out that we can?t keep spending money on things. Jake/Reggie says it isn?t that expensive. Reggie says we we spend lots of money on frivolous things but this could be potentially useful. Let?s outline how exactly we?d do this. Small box with money in it. Whoever opens the room in the morning takes the money box and has it by their side the entire time they?re in the room. What about having a locked money box near the library computer? The problem is it?s not hard to go behind there without being noticed so it would be easier to steal. And if it?s far away then it?s more of a hassle to go to the box and put money in/out. That can get annoying, especially if lots of people want to buy stuff. In UniGames, it should be next to whoever has the room and that system makes sense. Leah likes the idea of a small box with change, and bolted-down box with larger notes. We also need to consider procedures for when someone lose key for the locked box because that is a thing that?ll happen. I?m really tired and sick. :( Toby tells Jake to sit down. So Tim will put information up on the committee page Given that we?re initiating the lockbox first, we have two weeks to outline exactly how much a lockable box would cost and how it would work and we can vote now or next week when the outline is done. We?ll vote next week about if we want to go ahead with this plan. 9. Sleep More I?m way ahead of you. I?ve had my eyes closed for the last fifteen minutes. Touch-typing is so useful. 10. General Business Toby needs to talk to Guild because she?s not getting any emails from SOC and we should be getting them. Unless Jono wants to do that. I?m sure he would okay wutg this, Jono will do that yaaaay. Who wants in on a committee quiz night table? Not me, already on a Panto table. Who else? People put their hands up but I can?t see because my eyes are closed. We can open it up to CCC as well yaay. This is going to be fine, just fine. I?m hungry. Fuck, I?m so hungry right now. I kinda want chicken? Okay, this was a long meeting but Toby thinks the discussion was helpful. Finish: 5:49 Action Items Toby - Organise a meeting for the super cool top-secret destress task force; With Tim, look into Tav party costs; Change code on the brown cupboard; Post about couches; Look into weekend screenings; Email the VR guy; Set up a committee quiz night table. I?m sorry? Please check the facebook group instead to find out what?s going to be happening! Things for your eyes: - Our new ?Book Theme Of The While? starts this Monday and it will be ?Wizards and Magic Users?! If you know any good books or comics we have that fit this theme please let someone on committee know. And if you want to write us a review for our super cool review board then do it~ - This Thursday at 5pm in the clubroom, the lovely Cat will be hosting an Arts n Crafternoon where we may be learning how to draw superheroes perhaps (thanks to a handy book called ?How To Draw Superheroes?). That should be lots of fun so please come along. Here?s the facebook event: https://www.facebook.com/events/1756834134552661/ Any with that, on to the minutes~ UniSFA Committee Meeting 06/05/2016 Attending: Toby Joske, Leah Chappell, Corin Rowell, Tim Haig, Reggie Chow, Chris Larson, Patrick Mitchell Absences: Jake Alexander, Jono Astbury Agenda - Committee Reports - Last Meeting's Agenda Items - CAMP - Screenings - Events - Shirts - Moneybox and Lockbox - Book Theme - Better Clubrooms and Gardens - General Business Begin: 4:55pm 1. Committee Reports President We finally removed the wasp portal, now Batman protects us. Did some things, so many things. Set up the new board (Corin: I?m sorry, I can?t remember what this is in reference to). Leah and Toby cleaned out the brown cupboard. Organised quiz night tables. Toby gave herself too many items this week but did lots of them and it?s chaos. But Leah made some things. Also Toby got a cat and UniSFA is [VERY GOOD] at naming cats. Vice President KITTY! Did sponsor crawl, added things into library with reggie after that, went through brown cupboard with Toby. Picked up quiz night prizes with Pat. Gonna do quiz night. Can?t remember other things. Secretary I fell over and scraped my leg and pulled my back yesterday so now I am grumpy and sore. I apologise if I am short with anyone. But I got all my action items done? And we need to get all current committee members onto the committee mailing list so I?ll do that. Treasurer Haven?t done a lot cos Tim?s been writing reports that?re due soon. Ummmmmm yeah Tim didn?t do much and that?s it. Librarian Did sponsor crawl, did book buy, a couple books that were ordered and aren?t in yet but they should be in this week so Reggie?ll go get them. Also, comic shelf is rearranged: categorised by publisher and chronologically and by title. Thanks Chris for helping. Reggie has 3 tests and 3 assignments help. Free comic book day is tomorrow, go get free comics. Fresher Rep Yeah, Chris hasn?t done his stuff cos he?s got a thing. He is prioritising uni work like a good student. Snaps for Chris. OCM Report - Jake Jake looks more like an anime vampire antagonist than normal. Quiz night is a thing. Jake hates quizzes. He did book night. OCM Report - Jono Jono is defensive about avocados and leaves. Quiz night is a thing. Leah says Jono is perfect and flawless and I?m too tired to ask if she wants to apply that to Jake as well cos she was looking in his general direction (Corin: It?s okay. I still love you, Jake) OCM Report - Patrick Did sponsor crawl stuff with others. Got in contact with Jack and got a new book theme of the while sign made up. New book theme will be on Monday. 2. Last Meeting's Agenda Items Boy there were a lot of action items from last time, Toby doesn?t expect everyone to have gotten through them yet? No, Edward, we do not want to go to the tav right now. Tim is currently looking at the moneybox system and prices, will get back to us on that. We have the calendar! It?s Tolkien and it?s lovely. Toby needs to start the search for couches. Reggie and Chris were the task force for the fresher rewelcome but they haven?t spoken about that. Toby wags her finger, literally oh boy she is being magisterial as fuck. Okay so they will talk after the meeting it?s all good. Toby stops wagging her finger. We need a meeting for the secret destress task force of me, Toby, and Pat. But that task force is top secret and will not be talked about at all in the minutes. I will remove this bullet point. Has tim looked into tav party? It?s low priority but he can just ask Quizmittee what quiz night cost and go from there. Chris needs to laminate posters. They?ll choose which posters to laminate after the meeting 3. CAMP Leah forgot to forward the email, but in summary: Woodman Point is right off the table. We can?t go there because they?re almost completely booked out and the days they are free aren?t over a weekend and we?d be sharing the facility with school children and we?re not okay with that. DARE got back to Leah, she haven?t looked through pricing yet but they are currently available a lot which is good so there are various weekends to choose from. We only get the whole camp if we book out the entire two bunkhouses which is 72 beds and Leah isn?t sure if we?d be able to make the minimum price. Lesch is available and cheap and Leah likes them. She will do the maths and post said maths on the committee page at some point but as of right now she thinks Lesch is our best option. We need to start thinking about: making sure whoever can get RSAs gets them; making sure whoever can get first aid certificates gets them; drawing up an itinerary; and drawing up a code of conduct. 4. Screenings This is easier and under control now that we have the big calendar! People start talking about screenings in small quiet voices that I can?t hear, organising different screenings. Toby says ?what a convenient calendar!? Now, if people have a one-off screening that they want to do they should contact committee to have it put onto the calendar Patrick! Patrick can make a Facebook event for Nic?s screenings 5. Events Sponsor Crawl happened, it was good. Tim wants receipts and he?ll get them later. Quiz nights? about to happen. that?s nice. Toby will set up a destress meeting with the super secret task force that will not be mentioned in the minutes. The LARP photoshoot happened, bless fLiam and his friends. Ahmed said he?d be the first aid officer for that, which is nice. The only thing we need now in order to submit the EMP is a risk management plan (which Leah will do) and a poster. Either fLiam will do that or Chris will do it if fLiam doesn?t. Also, with LARP, are we doing events around it or not? Maybe? Leah has a rough plan of events like weapons making/screenings/VR/etc, and if anyone has ideas for that week hit Toby up. Chris makes a poll online about the fresher rewelcome and Toby approves of it. Toby likes the music UCC is playing. I prefer acoustic. (Me: I am actually typing this whilst listening to The Decemberists? album ?Hazards of Love? and it?s pretty good would recommend) 6. Shirts Toby was gonna yell at Jake for not doing a thing with shirts but he?s busy with quiz stuff. Toby will yell at Jake some other time. I keep accidentally typing Jake as Kake, sorry. 7. Moneybox and Lockbox I say upfront that if we have the same goddamn argument about this subject that we?ve been going over for weeks then I?m not writing minutes for this part, I?m just going to type ?BLAH BLAH BLOO BLAH? over and over until a new point is brought up. I don?t care any more. I?m so tired and want to play Zelda games. Yay there?s no big argument! Toby?s about to change the code on the brown cupboard so people on committee should keep an eye out for that on the committee Facebook page. What if our new code is some nonsense word like ?CLOOMP?? Maybe yes. That can be our new code. Toby says don?t put this in the minutes. But if our new code is in the minutes then it?s the last word someone would expect! We are so tricksy. Shall we just replace the lock? I want to replace the lock because I hate it and can never open it and am scared I?ll break it all the time. Some people are okay with the lock. Wasn?t Jake meant to oil it? Yeah? We?ll tell him not to because reasons. Reggie suggests graphiting it. I don?t know what that means but it makes things smooth apparently. Toby thinks its okay right now, it?s just a dodgy lock. It might get replaced, it might not, who knows. A few minutes later, Reggie says we should not graphite the lock that is a bad idea. So we won?t. 8. Book Theme We picked one, the theme will be changed on Monday. Please think of relevant books/comics to put on the shelf. The theme is wizards and magic users! Yaaaaaaaay~ Who wants to put the old reviews in the scrap book? Leah can do th- No, Toby will do it. We can do it on the crafternoon. Good idea, Toby. Bonus points if you submit a review for the review board on this topic. 9. Better Clubrooms and Gardens We have a garden? Hot damn! Yes, it?s a garden of nerds. Okay so couches. Prema had a couch, but it?s leather sand leather is bad and sticky and gross in summer so meh. Toby may make a post asking if anyone has a couch they want to get rid of. Failing that, Toby wants everyone to keep an eye out for verge collections so we can go curb surfing. There may be one in Subiaco. Hmmmmm. But all the armchairs are pretty dead now so yeah? Couches? Chris, did you say you had a trailer? He has a trailer. Nice. We may use that trailer for couch-related reasons. Where shall we put the calendar? Either above the screenings board or [leah points somewhere I can?t see]. We can put it up when we put up more posters. When is Reggie free to move books? Not this week but next week. Where shall we put drinks and things? The idea is to move some things from the brown cupboard either to the trash or to the old guard because fuck some things in that cupboard. Then we can move the Wiii U to brown cupboard, drinks to secret cupboard (fix that lock), and books into the cupboards outside the clubroom. Toby is doubtful about space. Leah will show her how much room we have. Shall we put more shelves in those cupboards? Hmmmm. Maybe we can just have trays in the secret cupboard? Hmmmmm. Trays would be expensive and take more time. When Nic brought this idea up last year it was to move anthologies/fanshrines to some other place because people don?t read anthologies and they search via genre so yeah. If we have books in boxes, we could put into Koha what boxes the books are in. If we put the books in the outside cupboard, Leah would prefer shelves and not boxes. But we?d need more shelves because those shelves are high and it?d be a lot of wasted space? Before anything is moved, we need to figure out how it will all work and if everything will fit. Either way, room will be waisted because the cupboards are really deep. I can?t hear what?s being said, I?m deaf and everyone has quiet voices. Something about books and shelves? Just looking at shelves isn?t enough, we need to measure things. Reggie says, looking at things, all our books may not fit into the cupboards because we have to move so many of them. Nic suggests seeing if there?s an empty hallway cupboard we can take possession of, but we don?t think so. We could make a case to Guild about getting more storage space. Shall we look into that? Yeah okay. Because in future we will probably get more books and run out of space again. Please Reggie look into how feasible, if at all, these things are. 10. General Business Chris was talking with Gavin about fresher rewelcome and he wonders if it?d be a good idea to do a joint event with UniGames. Toby doesn?t think so because then it just becomes one of their boardgame nights. We want more members in our club. There can be two events happening next to each other but yeah? A screening and boardgames at same time? Toby would rather we do something then they do something after. That way we can all steal freshers from each other, this is also more crucial to our club as we don?t have things like fresher campaigns to keep people in. For stuff in the brown cupboard, Nic said the computer in there is the old library computer which we?ve gotten rid of it. Can we replace it? We offered it to UCC and they said no thanks. If we?re gonna get rid of it, we can make an offer on the facebook page saying hey please take this computer if you want it. Toby just wants to make sure that it hasn?t been kept for a reason, like it has records on it or something. But no we don?t think it does. Okay get rid of it then. Also, a box of radios was in there, but they?re no longer relevant. Leah wants to make a post inviting old guard to come get them if they want them. Leah can be in charge of that. People maybe wanna use our room for debating over the study break. Tim thinks if we have people in here then he doesn?t see any reason not to let them use it. We?d have to have someone in here anyway. We?re mostly confused about why they want this room? We can email them to find out exactly when/how long they want it for. I can do that. As long as it doesn?t interfere with club business or screenings then it should be okay. Steam account! Toby wants to buy games. Yaaay. Reggie suggests going to EB games for that because they have a better conversion rate on steam account money. Tim says wait until a Steam sail and buy a bunch at once. Toby is against buying a lot of games at once that we may not play. Can we make a post asking for members? suggestions? Toby says no, she only wants to buy games if screenings are definitely going to happen. We an ask if people want to plan game screenings, though. Finish: 5:49pm Action Items Everyone - Think of books and reviews on the topic of ?Wizards and Magic Users?; Keep an eye out for verge collections and maybe couches. Someone - Think about RSAs, first aid certificates, itinerary, code of conduct for camp. Toby - Start search for couches; Organise a super top secret destress meeting; Yell at Jake; Change the brown cupboard code. Leah - Do the maths about various camp options; Risk management plan for LARP; Make a FB post asking if people want to come get old radios from the brown cupboard. Corin - Email the debating people to find out what?s up w/ that. Tim - Ask quizmittee how much quiz night cost; Keep working on lockbox plan. Reggie - Organise fresher rewelcome with Chris; Look into how feasible our book storage solutions are. Chris - Organise fresher rewelcome with Reggie; Laminate posters; If fLiam doesn?t make a LARP poster please do it Jake - Do shirt things and/or get yelled at by Toby. Jono - You have no action items from this meeting, way to go buddy. Patrick - Make a Facebook event for Nic?s screening apparently. ?????????????????????????? Have a great day today, everyone! I?ve come down with a cold so make sure you?re wrapping up warm and not getting sick! Things for your eyes: - UniSFA Goes: Ice Skating! This is a thing, it is happening on the 21st of May (that?s this Saturday) from 1:45pm at Cockburn Ice Arena. If you want to turn up and rent some ice skates so you can slip and slide all over a frozen rink, then now is the time to do it! Here?s a link to the Facebook event if you want in on that: https://www.facebook.com/events/970930533003322/ And here are the minutes from this meeting: UniSFA Committee Meeting 13/05/16 Attending: Leah Chappell, Corin Rowell, Tim Haig, Reggie Chow, Chris Larson Absences: Toby Joske, Jono Astbury, Jake Alexander, Patrick Mitchell Agenda - Committee Reports - Last week's action items - Camp - "Moneybox? - Events - Book Themes - General Business Begin: 1:33 pm 1. Committee Reports President Sick. Vice President Leah changed the code on the brown cupboard, set up the lockbox, handed in posters to Uniprint to be laminated and will laminate other posters as well later. Got money out for arts and crafts night, it was really fun. Leah can?t remember other things. But yes. Secretary I emailed the debating people about them wanting the clubroom but nobody got back to me, what?s up with that? Also I got a flu shot. Then I got the flu. But I won a prize last night for being pretty so it all works out. Treasurer We have money. Tim has looked at costs of having a tav party, we should be able to do it. Also reviewed the fridge prices but is not entirely sure who needs to approve changes to that? And he has notes about the moneybox system. Librarian Reggie measured the cabinets with books in mind, and doesn?t think they?re all going to fit. We may fit just the anthologies, most definitely won?t be able to put fanshrine in the cupboards. We can apply for extra storage space? And Reggie and Chris have been planing a fresher event, it?s fine. Fresher Rep Spoke with Reggie about the fresher thing, wasn?t able to see Toby in person so will do poster stuff later with Leah. Freshers are dead. OCM Report - Jake Not available at this time on a Friday. OCM Report - Jono Singapore. OCM Report - Patrick Probably busy. 2. Last Week?s Action Items Leah is going to do the risk management form for LARP after she?s submitted the EMP. That?s about it? Everything else is done or the people who are needed to discuss it are not here. Moving on. 3. Camp Leah forwarded the emails about prices to everyone and also posted up a ?review? thing on the committee Facebook page. Basically what it comes down to is: DARE is good because it?s different but it?s gonna be more expensive and we have to make sure we get numbers (maybe at least 60) so we can afford to book out the whole camp which is doable but ehhh. Woodman Point is definitely out (see last meeting?s minutes if you want details). Lesch is starting to look like the best option in Leah?s mind. We will almost certainly make a profit and will get full run of the camp. Chis thinks we should play it safe and not make a loss. We probably won?t decide this today with so few people here. Be we do want everyone to be in agreement about where we have camp. Leah is leaning towards Lesch but we will need everyone here to decide that permanently. Can someone send Leah a copy of the UNiGames camp code of conduct? I can do that. Also Reggie can make a post on the CCC page asking for activity ideas for Camp. People also need to say if they?d be willing to help run it. Reggie does that in the middle of the meeting. Nice. Tim says we should have some people get bronze stars or bronze medallions because there is water at the camp and we?ll need someone who can rescue people who are drowning. Tim was looking to do that but he can?t be the only one. Get one of the jocks to do it. Who?s keen to get an RSA? A few people. It costs money. Fuck, I can?t afford that much? If we can get it done before semester two, it?ll be optimal. That can be something to think about. Later. 4. ?Moneybox? Toby is sick and doesn?t want us to talk about this without her. 5. Events Taylor is here to talk about quiz night. It went well and we all had fun, even if there were some typos on the questions. Taylor went to the tav and they won?t send an invoice until the end of the month. There will be a quizmittee meeting probably before the end of the month as well. We will probably split the revenue and then have the invoice split four ways. Taylor has calculated things and based on the highest that our invoice is gonna come to, each club will make about $150? But there are a couple things we may have to pay for with the tav, or not pay for, so we?ll figure things out. The coin toss game made a surprising amount of money so please always do that at similar events. The catering went well. We all agree the catering was a good idea. And the ticket prices were still reasonable. So yes things went pretty well. What a good night. Ice skating is happening on the 21st of May. Jono is organising it and we presume he will get on that shit. (How will he do that and also be in Panto? We don?t know.) But ice skating?ll be cold and we like cold. Fresher Rewelcome! We want an indoor picnic and we will sort out food for that. After that, we can run a screening of Steven Universe (Me: Hissssssss) or maybe games of some description. We can use the Wii or our Steam account for games, or little board games maybe. Mario Maker! Yaaaaaay I want Mario Maker. Our current plan is to run it on the 26th, so the Thursday afternoon- Wait no that?s the day of UniGames? Escape Hunt. Okay let?s not do it then. Maybe the Wednesday? When is book nerds? Well whatever, that can be moved. We can run this on the 25th. Chris finishes his class at 5 that day. We can have picnic at 5, then screenings at 6. Freshers decide what order things go in. Does anyone know how to set out the Wii? We can attempt it. We can also ask Jack to teach us how to set it up. So we?ll need a food budget, someone to buy the food, and someone to get the things we want to screen. Tim has to do the budget, so he can organise people to help with that. Chris can download things to screen. Ask freshers what they want to watch, do what they say. Destress Thing? We will set up a chat to talk about that. LARP is happening, Leah will submit an EMP for that. Leah needs to talk to Tim about money for events leading up to the LARP. At swancon, Leah/Toby were given cards by a guy who made a game for a VR simulator and he?s offering to do a demonstration of it for us, so thinking of booking out a room in the CCC area and set up a demo of that game there? We also would like suggestions for things to do on Friday night next to LARP. Let?s go to a neko nightclub! Let?s not. Maybe like a videogame cafe or something? We need to think about that. 6. Book Themes We can?t do this cos Toby isn?t here. Okay, then. But we all really like ?books that make you angry? as the theme after this one. 7. General Business We have large posters and one other poster that is getting laminated, all for the ceiling. Other posters are going to Uniprint for lamination. Then others are going to be trimmed and laminated by Frames. We have to fill out the calendar a bit more because there a lot of blank spaces. Also, everything on the calendar should have a Facebook event for them. One of the OCMs should go through it making events for them. People should keep sending in book reviews. We have some reviews, we could have more. We?re all so tired. At some point we have to: look into shirts; review the fridge prices; think about moving books (Reggie thinks we can just move anthologies and wants to do that at the end of semester so okay). Good news: we found the key to the lock on the secret cupboard! Yaaaaay~ There are some things in the brown cupboard we want rid of. Leah made a post about radios, but then what about that computer? Tim wants to salvage things like the Ram/hard drive/small bits and pieces but get rid of the huge box etc. He can partner with someone from UCC to look at it and find out if it?s worth it. It?s taking up room, we don?t want it there. Other people have been applying for CCC! We can do a review at the next meeting and then at the start of next semester. At the very least, we can look at the applications an see if we want to increase the number of CCC we have. Finish: 2:13 pm Action Items Everyone - Think of ideas for what to do on that Friday next to LARP day. Leah - Submit LARP EMP; Talk to Tim about money for LARP-adjacent events; Contact VR guy? Corin - Send Leah a copy of the UniGames code of conduct. Tim - Make a budget for the Fresher Rewelcome picnic food; Talk to someone at UCC to see if anything from that old computer is worth salvaging. Chris - Find out what freshers want to screen and download it. OCM - One of you make FB events for things on the calendar that do not already have FB events. ?????????????????????????? And there was another meeting this afternoon with more minutes. So I?ll keep things brief and talk about things more when those minutes are sent out later. So, here are the minutes: UniSFA Committee Meeting 19/05/16 Attending: Leah Chappell, Jono Astbury, Chris Larson, Patrick Mitchell, Tim Haig, Toby Joske, Corin Rowell, Jake Alexander Absences: Reggie Chow Agenda - Committee Reports - Previous Action Items - Shirts - Events - Camp - General Business Begin: 2:07 1. Committee Reports President It?s been two weeks since the last report because Toby was sick. Did lots of things. Frames brought in his laminator (thanks Frames) and now we have small posters. Also our ceiling posters look rad. Went to SOC meeting, it was really long. Voted on a bunch of clubs to become or not become clubs. Had a super secret TOP SECRET meeting with Corin and Patrick about the destress evening. Ate some of Tim?s yummy cookies. Vice President After last week?s meeting, went to UniPrint to cut up posters to be laminated. Submitted the EMP for LARP but it hasn?t been looked at which is irritating. Has cried over essays and theses. Secretary I have done nothing UniSFA related because I?ve been doing theatre things all week. I am also on edge cos there?s a big prop I want to get back to. Treasurer Not done a lot, sorted out a budget for the fresher re-welcome and reviewed the fridge prices. Also toby was there. We have money. Librarian Not here, probably being pretty somewhere else. Fresher Rep Laminated mini posters and organised fresher rewelcome with Reggie, just need to sort out what food to buy and download stuff and it?s all good. OCM Report - Jake Helped Toby put a poster up, tried to remove tape from the ceiling. Jake hates posters on the roof (we all disagree) and he talked to Oscar about shirts. We?ll talk about that later. Talked to someone on tenancy about getting the floor resurfaced. There?s a large budget for Cameron Hall which could go towards that, or we could ask if we can do it ourselves. Jake is more panto than person. Also Corin?s embrace of the void fanart is eerily accurate (Me: thank you!) OCM Report - Jono Okay so ice skating is booked. That?s Saturday. Gonna pay the lump sum. Members will pay UniSFA back cos that?s how group bookings work. Jono will probs chase people up, will probs have to bring some change to the ice rink? Somehow? Anyway that?ll happen between PANTO HELL. People are still welcome to come, they just gotta pay full price at the things. Quiz night wrap-up happened, Taylor is haggling with the tav about how much we need to pay them and once it?s all sorted there?s no way we?re paying more than a certain amount. Minimum profit is $728 split four ways which is nice. Jono needs to archive all quiz night materials and will put that in the dropbox. OCM Report - Patrick I don?t know man, it?s been a while. Made a bunch of FB events. Not sure what else. I ask Pat if he?s tired from panto. He cannot speak and merely nods. 2. Previous Action Items Nothing needing to go over. 3. Shirts We?re not sure if we are too late to piggy-back on the UCC shirt order. The most important thing we need to do is make a design to go onto the shirt. For next week, Jake?ll need to get proper figures, see if it?s still an option, how much it?ll cost, how much it?ll take, etc. If it?s not feasible, we can look into UniGames? shirt source. 4. Events Jake and Edward need to make an event for book nerds on Facebook. It?s on Monday. Talk about some discussion themes, some ideas, collab on talking points. Ice Skating is happening yay! Refresher rewelcome is cool. Chris needs to figure out what foods are needed and will get them the day before. Also will test screenings the day before. SUPER TOP SECRET SUPER TOP SECRET EVENT that is a destress evening. We can?t talk about or put in the minutes that it?s going to be on the 7th of June and be a pyjama party with coffee/tea/milo and arts and crafts and some disney screenings probably. This bullet point will self-destruct in five minutes. Escape Hunt is a thing, someone should comment on the Facebook post about that to bump it up, going like ?hey this is a thing it?s so cool?. Escape Hunt is cool. Some people are going. I can?t go, I?m at a party. Toby goes WHOAH cos what kind of NERD goes to a PARTY? Anyway, that?s the 26th. LARP. Did anyone want to be an NPC? Is that free? No, it?s just half price. Some people are interested. Other people are not. Regular tickets are $20 and NPC tickets are $10. You aren?t your own character, you are a pre-made character, but it could be fun. 5. Training First Aid and Mental Health and RSA. First Aid is on the 21st, this Saturday, and the 28th. One is this Saturday during ice skating and Toby is doing it then. She recommends other people do it on the 28th. Taylor points out if you don?t do the Guild one, there is another place that does $99 first aid training. Is anyone gonna do that? Yeah some people are. Why is everything so expensiiiiiiiiive? I have no money. There?s an option to have a committee do it all together, we can do that later. Mental Health training is a 2-day training thing, it?s not as essential but it?s interesting and free. (Me: fuck yeah!) There?s one on the 7/8 June (which clashes with the super secret destress day) and we think on the 27/28 July. A bunch of us are gonna do 27/28. Tim brings up bronze medallions. Laura Hodges has a bronze medallion, so does Jake, and Tim is gonna try for his. We can look into maybe getting a few more. People who are lifeguards may need to be sober the entire camp (but we can have fun without alcohol so it?s okay). 5. Camp Now that we?re all here, can we finalise the location and book out with a deposit and everything with a date set and shit please. Did leah find the figures for DARE? Leah did, and she emailed Toby about it (see previous minutes for details about different camps). People are now talking about different camps. Toby is nervous about going to Lesch, she doesn?t want it to be similar to UniGames camp. It may not be a bother, because we are doing different activities. Jake brings up that UniGames is good for this sort of camp because they have core events. He?s concerned that UniSFA may not be able to be as engaging and have as many events for a good camp. Leah says that?ll be a problem for any club but yeah we?ll have an itinerary put together for the event. Toby was thinking about the observatory, is there a way to do something like that? I like the idea. Leah thinks it would be close enough to do an overnight stay, but we may not be able to get through Guild. Cos there?s this big thing about getting everyone to the observatory safely and hmmm. Observatory is an hour way, it may not be feasible unless we get a bus. Leah just wants to get the location sorted now and get a deposit in now. Toby says she doesn?t see any other option than Lesch? Taylor points out we do have money, we can run an event at a loss. We don?t want to make a loss. Not on the camp, which could potentially be a massive loss. We want to minimise costs. Jake is very in favour of DARE, but acknowledges that we would not be able to fill it. It?s hard to estimate numbers, but we don?t think we?d be able to fill it up. So are we gonna do Lesch? Yes we?re gonna lock in Lesch. Yay a decision!!! 6. General Business Please come to Panto! Our ERF didn?t go through guild so Toby hasn?t been getting Guild emails. But, we can apply for more storage space and need to let them know we need our currant storage. Two other spaces have become available, too. They can take suggestions of uses of the spaces (including as a clubroom). Are they bigger than our room? We don?t want to move away from other nerds in Cameron Hall, but we do want this place to be more accessible. But anyway, we need to make a strong case for more storage options. Tav is gonna be renovated and closed over the break, so won?t take any bookings especially not in August. We want a tav party which?ll be chill and have costumes and things. Jono wants a smash tournament. Jake violently protests. His eyebrows disappear into his hair. Registrations for semester two club carnival are open. We should get in on that and request to be next to UniGames. Jono can register for that. We should?ve gotten an email from leadership training confirming we attended all 8 modules. Please everyone check that we got that email and we got all modules. There?s a little oasis popup down by the Tav. If there?s an event we want to have outside, we can get in on that. Maybe we can have an outdoor screening or something when it gets warmer? Yeah. UWA has a snapchat? If we want our events on it, we just talk to them and we can do that. And yeah if you wanna film an event, that can be a thing. Zoo? Zoo! It?s expensive, but REALLY COOL. I like the zoo. Group bookings may be cheaper. Jono?ll look into it for potential UniSFA goes. Okay, Cat is stepping down from CCC so next week we may do a review of CCC applications. Do we wanna talk to the welfare people about our super secret destress thing? Yes. May as well. We may get free things. Finish: 2:53 Action Items Everyone - Check you have all modules from leadership training. Toby - look into feasibility of going to the observatory during camp; Post about CCC applications in FB page; Talk to Casey about first aid; Look into bronze medallions/RSAs; Look into storage application; Check the ERF went through. Leah - ?Currently bumping the event hunt?? Corin - Slay in Panto. Tim - Have fun today. Reggie - Have fun today. Chris - Have fun today. Jake - Slay in Panto; Make book nerds event; Shirt stuff. Jono- Slay in Panto; Archive the quiz night things; Go to SOC homepage and register for semester 2 club carnival. Patrick - Slay in Panto. ?????????????????????????? Have a great day today, everyone! Toby has done her first aid training already. She made a bunch of Facebook events again and posted about some things. Really enjoyed ice skating videos/photos. Went to Panto and it was sick. It?s only really been 5 days since last meeting. Vice President Uhhhhhhhhhhh... Also went to speak to Casey(she continues to be lovely) EMP for LARP has been approved so we can get going with that. Saw Panto, A+ can?t believe you killed the dog. Went to ice skating and it was good. Leah says to Tim that they need to do money things today. Toby?s cupcakes are good (Toby apparently didn?t make them but still good). Secretary I couldn?t attend because I had received some very bad news and needed time to myself. But I didn?t do anything anyway because Panto sucked up my life. Treasurer We do have money but it?s going down slightly. It?s fine, just need to collect money bags. Starting to organise fridge run for this week. Have a new tablet so people can finally talk to Tim. Librarian We love Reggie. Fresher Rep Chris: I haven?t done anything. Leah: You set up the facebook event. Chris: That was Reggie, really. Leah: Aight. OCM Report - Jake Love you, Jake. OCM Report - Jono Ran ice skating and took loads of photo/videos then posted them. Still need to get some money from people. Panto was good, I made many many people cry, good shit. OCM Report - Patrick Pat shakes his head. Panto is love, Panto is life (but also death now). Pat is sad. 2. TOP SECRET NOT-CAKE RELATED BUSINESS Tick. 3. Previous Action Items Jono to archive quiz night stuff ? Can do that today. People to do good on Panto ? Slayed . Register for Club Carnival ? Jono to do at some point in 1000 days. Make sure we all have official modules for leadership training ? Most still need to do this. 4. Let?s Talk About How Rad Panto Was For A Minute Everyone gushes about Panto. People not ready for feels train. Toby thinks everyone in the room who was in it was the best. 5. Money System Tim sighs. Tim?s gonna explain his proposed new system, we?re gonna talk civilly about pros and cons. Then we have a civil war with explosive weapons banned but everything else is ok. Then we vote, yes and no?s only. Ok the two options are as follows: Just a money box. Not locked down. Stays with person holding the room. That person needs to have it on them at all time. Stays locked majority of the time. Gets checked by treasurer every few days. When the room is closed, lock box and put it on fridge, then close room. Money box and ballot box for notes. Money box works as above. Ballot box could go near comics in view of the web cam. Might allow some notes allowed in money box and transfer them to the ballot box. Costs: $40-$50 for Money Box AND Ballot Box Discussion: Maybe a box with a coin slot so we only open it when we get change? Money box is free moving. Is this secure enough? Are we competent to not spill it all the time? Perhaps keep the key to the money box in the lockbox with the room key so you get it out when you open the room? Some back and forth on the topic of security vs ease of use. On another note, we should advertise our Fridgebook system more. The money has to go through the CCC member. Tim needs to carefully monitor if money is being lost. Voting time! Unanimously agree on the ballot box system if we?re going to change the system. Real voting here we go: The motion to change our money system from bags to boxes. Yes: 5 No: 1 Money and Ballot boxes will get bought! 6. CCC Should we have another meeting on Thursday to vote on new CCC? Yes. Okay. 7. Shirts? Jake is RIP so nah. Let us RIP, Jake. 8. Events We should have more UniSFA Goes events during the holidays when other camps are not on. If you are reading this and have ideas for UniSFA Goes events then please let us know. Events to run before the LARP to create hype and make it a bigger thing. Leah to contact the VR guy about his VR game demonstration. Toby and Tom to screen Until Dawn. Pajama party on 7th of June. Maybe plan more screening over the study break? Jono to screen JJBA. Toby to screen Metalocalypse. 9. General Business Training stuff - Toby did first aid last Saturday. Others should do first aid training on this Saturday. Camp Stuff - Can someone go over the camp details with Leah over the next week? Toby will but maybe sometime later. Hey you!
