I was thinking about doing so, but I forgot.

I think the most likely scenario is that there was a mix-up, but that the 
situation was explained to them (possibly by Seb) and they've decided the 
fairest thing to do is just count it as a bye.

As for how it affects our ladder position, I wouldn't worry about that too 
much. Given who we were missing for that game (as well as the health of 
the remainder), the current arrangement might actually have been 
beneficial for us. :/
