Hi guys,<br><br><b>Ultra Short Version</b><br>*You're registered in D-Grade under Claremont<br>*Due to a fixturing mix-up you have no game this week. With Easter next week that means your first game will be in a fortnight.<br>
<br><b>Long Version</b><br>I've been trying to chase this up since last Saturday, but haven't had much to report until now. I've chatted to Lawrence (new sports guy at Claremont) and Robbie (Youth pastor at Claremont) in person and tried to get in contact with Rishi a couple of times, and finally got hold of Seb tonight and he's made things a bit clearer.<br>
<br>Lawrence is trying to set some things up at Claremont to do with sports and the usual/logical way to do that is to do it with a smaller bunch of people who have strong ties to the church. Not that unusual, I think I've mentioned this as a possibility to at least some of you for a while, now its happened. If he and Claremont got organised sooner, you would likely have been given notice that you'd have had to find a different comp this season. Depending on how this year goes, that may still be the case next winter season.<br>
<br>Haven't been able to talk to Rishi. I think he's meant to be doing the basketball with Lawrence (who's not a basketballer) but I get the impression he's only involved because nobody else is stepping up to do it. I can't really blame him, it can be a big job and he's one of the busier guys I know.<br>
<br>For this season however you have been registered with Claremont in Mens D (Grading will be interesting given that you didn't get to play the first 2 weeks and I don't think you're a D-Grade team). Seb is still doing fixturing and thought you were fixtured this week (possibly as a C2 team) <u>but</u> after I got him to check he realised that is not the case and that you are still not on the fixtures this week.<br>

</div>Yeah, I was talking to Chris and he mentioned there were rumblings about<br>
this. I don't have any problems with the odd Claremont extra, as long as<br>
they're aware of the number of players we have, and thus the amount of<br>
game time that will amount to. Of course if it's a bit more that "the odd<br>
game", it might get a bit annoying having 9 every week.<br>
