I suggest we investigate somewhere nice. A sit down dinner is
definitely in order. I seem to recall the Parmelia Hilton is
offering a discount to Guild clubs for their functions.
We should get the old guard to assist in compiling a database of the
_old, old_ guard (you know, the people who were old guard when they
were new). Then we can carry out a mass-mailout to all the members.
We may be able to get people over from the eastern states even,
although I seem to recall Mikolaj and Yakk have already said they
won't be in attendance (unless of course Yakk gets deported).

Make sure the dinner@ alias is assigned to useful people. I'll
coordinate the collection of names and email addresses. We can
allocate other tasks at the meeting.

Do we really need one? We seem to have an almost perfectly
functional .11b access point. Plus, let's all recall that .11g
doesn't perform as you would expect in the presence of .11b devices.
While we do have large wads of cash, I don't feel there is any point
in investing in one of these yet.
Plus, I'm sure .11g will be replaced before too long by something a
whole less crap.
