Shall we ask for special exemption, being of a club whose primary item
is electronics, and could fill any room they specified with much of the
same. I'm sure they didn't actually consider the UCC when they came up
with this idea. If they aren't interested, perhaps we could get someone
from EE to come over and tag all of our stuff off as safe (or someone
else qualified, we must know a few registered sparkies).

Perhaps it is time to throw out everything that is (or looks)
fundamentally electrically fucked (for example, that fan).
