Is it the same as what's written on the side of the bulb, ie
40W or whatever? Also startup draw can't be _that_ bad (ie
only equiv to say 10 seconds of normal usage), otherwise
it'd blow fuses etc wouldn't it? (I avoid power EE stuff.)

It's remained shut for long periods of time in the past, and
Manics are no longer resident in Cameron Hall.
