Heya folks,
I used to be a UCC member way back in the mid 90's.
We've just been delivered an Onyx 2 in bits but I believe it is fully
functional. I don't particuarly want the thing, but some of the programmers
here want to tinker with it for a bit. In the mean time, I'm trying to find
someone willing to take it off our hands (once the guys figure out it needs
3 phase power to run) and thought the UCC might be able to make use of it.
Are you guys interested? If you are I'll try to get it released so you guys
can have it.
Specs are something like:
2 or 4 x 4 core CPU's (So I've been told)
1 x InfiniteReality graphics board (has 6 chips on it *shrug*)
3 x 2" thick 3.5" SCSI Hard drives (Suspect they are 18GB each)
Looks like a big blue/grey fridge - oh and has a LCD control panel
cheers,
Rick
