The first beta of the Fresher's Guide is up:

Everybody please do some proof reading. The highlighted sections require
attention.

I want to have this ready for Monday (or Tuesday at the latest) for
printing.

Bernard, since we don't have an active fresher rep, can you please write
a welcome from the President (actually, I recall wanting one of these
last year, but I think the President had an anxiety attack or something
and Mr Adam stepped up to the plate).
