David/Jen,

As you might have seen, this motion unfortunately did not make it into
the agenda for the AGM. I received it by email at 6pm, which was after I
had done the agenda (for which the deadline was vaguely 1pm, but more
realistically 4pm).

If you would like this issue discussed, perhaps we should hold a general
meeting later on in the year since it probably would have been too short
notice to have affected this AGM anyway.

As an aside, something we should look to clarify in our constitution is
the meaning of the terms "in writing" and "in person". It seems that it
is in the spirit of the club to allow electronic means of communication,
but it does not clarify this, or what means should be taken to ensure
identity.

Hope there is no hard feeling here,

Regards,
