[committee] Apologies, once again

Living an hour away doesn't bode well for making it to evening
committee meetings when work finishes at 5.

If I were able to make it, the only thing I have to report is that I
wrote a paragraph or so for the freshers guide "from the Fresher Rep".
If volunteers for o'day are needed, I'll be around the whole day to do
things, so feel free to volunteer me for something.
