These have _not_ been booked yet, so theres still some time to address any major gripes. I've got the Fresher Welcome penciled in on Friday of the Second week of semester (The 9th of March). The AGM fits nicely on the Tuesday of Week four (the 20th). We can probably bump the AGM forward a week into week 3 if people think sooner is better. Can people please let me know if there are any major problems with these dates. If I don't get any major gripes I'll go ahead and get them booked. We now have the server in Sydney here with me, so if the offer is still open, we'd love to take it up. It's an Alpha in a 3RU case, that also contains a little network-connected serial console so we can power it on and off remotely. Thus all it requires is two power points and two ethernet connections (and two IPs to suit). When would be a good time to set things up? Thanks in advance, Bernard. I've put all of them into the committee pigeonhole. As I was doing this I noticed that the padlock on the machine room was open, although the doors were closed and latched shut. I checked there was no-one inside and then locked it. Maybe we should remind people to close the machine room when they leave the clubroom, or something. Sorry, that was probably me leaving in a hurry. I should have checked regardless; Most door members don't have access to the machine room anyway. .. The O'Day application is in and signed AFAIK. The clubroom application is still to be followed up; I'll try and get to it some time this weekend.
