It's always been about profit. Notice how we sell stuff (or at least we
used to) at higher prices than UniSFA and UniGames? Convenience of coke
credit goes a long way. Back in the day we used to screw around with
prices to see exactly how high we could get them before people started
going to other clubs to buy drinks. Coke makes UCC a lot of money so we
can buy machines and other stuff.
Large coke runs down to Claremont/Floreat/Subiaco isn't too hard, and
every member in coke group is responsible for participating in these runs.
Coles/Woolworths will always be cheaper than the IGA, and often do
specials like $9.99 for a 24 can block. Just turn up and see if you're
lucky.
