Hi,

As you probably already know, over 200 UWA University students participated
in the J.P. Morgan Portfolio Competition in 2008 (out of 9,000 nation-wide).

This 8-week free sharemarket Competition is an excellent addition to any
undergraduate student's CV, as it demonstrates an aptitude for, and interest
in, financial markets.  We're looking forward to further strengthening your
university's involvement this year so if you could spread the word that
would be great.

As offered in previous years, we will be awarding a generous cash prize if
the final registration numbers of UWA students exceed 500 students.
Although this may possibly seem challenging to attain, we've seen
universities such as the University of Sydney triple their numbers in one
year (from 518 in 2007 to 1478 in 2008).  Please also note that this
Competition is not restricted to Business/Commerce students; all
undergraduate students are eligible.

Simply reply and we'll send you a soft-copy flier that you can email out to
your society members (or even put up on your society facebook page!).  If
you're able to distribute posters and fliers that would also be a great way
to spread the word, so please provide your postal address and best contact
number.
