Dear Rohit,
Thank you for your email.
The University Computer Club committee is elected from it's existing member
base annually at our Annual General Meeting (generally held in March).
Anyone can be a member of the Club however, just not hold a position on the
Committee! If that's the information you are looking for, I'd suggest a
visit to the 2010 Membership Page - http://www.ucc.asn.au/member/2010/ -
that outlines payment methods and has a link to the 2010 membership form. As
you are a current UWA student and first time member (from what I can tell),
it will either cost you $10 (Guild) or $15 (non-Guild). Members are most
welcome to sit in on meetings of Committee but of course don't have any
decision making powers :)
I'd encourage you to pop into the clubroom and have a chat with one of our
very friendly Committee or Door group members if you have any more queries,
alternately feel free to drop me an email directly if you have further
questions.
Kind Regards,
Matt Didcoe
