Hi,

Perhaps shouting "Its on the website!" was not the most useful advice
committee could give about applying for door.

The policy for applying to groups is located here:
http://www.ucc.asn.au/infobase/policies/guidelines.ucc

Basically you must email door@, convince them that you should be on
door, and answer any questions/objections raised.

The policies actually don't say this, but you have to complete LOLDOG
(a test) also.

I couldn't find any link to LOLDOG. I believe it is stored in some
obscure place on dja's website. However I have found a copy from
someone else's door application; its at the end of the email.

I would like to suggest that you set up forwarding from your ucc
account to your regular use account, as this is the way the club
contacts door members.

Committee: We should probably put LOLDOG on the website.
Also, what the hell does it stand for?

==== Open Questions ====

Why do you want to be on door?

What difference will putting you on door make?

==== Can You Find And Read The Policy Questions ====

Where would you find door policy?

Where would you find the Door Note?

Why do we have door members?

What are the 3 key attributes of door members:

There's a fire in the machine room. What do you do?
(Please include who you should contact at the university, with a phone
number. Hint: there's a sign in the Cameron Hall stairway that tells
you.)

Who should you contact with questions/concerns about the policy?

==== Other Useful Things To Know ====
(ask someone who is on door or committee for help if you have no idea)

What is the coke machine code to unlock the door?

If someone is violent, refuses to leave, or otherwise poses a danger
to people or property, you should call UWA Security. What is their
number? Give both the emergency and non-emergency numbers. (Hint: this
information is posted above the phone in the clubroom.)

At what time of night will security come round to kick you out if
Committee hasn't got a letter from the Guild permitting people to be
in Cameron Hall?
