[committee] Charity suggestions for Charity Vigil

We need to come up with some ideas for charities to support for this
year's charity vigil. I've forwarded Frames' email, but here's a summary.

The charities should
* help youth and
* be active in Perth.

Frames has already suggested:
* Beyond Blue and
* Leeuwin Oceanic Adventure Foundation

Does anyone from UCC want to throw a charity into the ring or put their
support behind one of those? It'd be good to have as many charities to
consider as possible.

Cheers,

Subject: [CharityVigil] What Charity?

Hi Charity Vigil Folks,
Before we have the first organizing meeting, I want to have a nice list of charity's to discuss.
(that being what we should decide on first, so we can make promotional stuff, letter to sponsors,
etc)

Please ask your committees and club members for suggestions.
The rough criteria for selection is:
  *  Helps Youth
  *  Active in Perth

These have stretched before, (Oak-tree 5 or so years ago, ChildsPlay last year), these are what we are going for.

Current suggestions so far are:

  *  Beyond Blue
  * Leeuwin Oceanic Adventure Foundation (I'm kinda biased)

BTW the current suggested date for Charity Vigil is 28 Sept. (Friday during study break),
So as to not clash with UCC Camp, which has taken the normal time.

Feel free to forward this to your clubs mailing lists.
