Correct in this instance, but only because we had some independent storage
of the backups within the machine room. Now that some stuff is on the SAN,
we have no independent device to put the backups on (at least not until
the FAS is setup properly for home dirs).
Offsite backups are something that we've been needing to do anyway, so now
seems like a good time to do it since we're looking at the backups setup
anyway.
