Hi there,
Just a quick ping to remind you that Early Bird registrations for
CompCon are closing soon (31 August).
We have announced our first keynote speaker, Professor Pascal Van
Hentenryck (http://compcon.net.au/node/29). We will be announcing the
rest of our program over the next few days - we have over 20 talks and
workshops covering a wide variety of topics. More information is on our
website (http://compcon.net.au) and Facebook page
(https://www.facebook.com/compconaustralia).
We would really appreciate it if you could promote this event to your
members. I've attached some posters in PDF form - we would appreciate it
if you could put them up around the place, or include it in your club
newsletter.
We'd also like to ask that you give serious consideration to assisting
your members financially to come to this event - we know that it's quite
expensive to ask students to pay for, but we think it will be a
worthwhile event! If you are interested in doing this, please contact us
and we can help you.
If you've got any further questions, please don't hesitate to contact us!
Regards
Andrew Donnellan
