Hi Mitch (and committee),
If your event power is coming in from a 20 or 30A three phase outlet to a distro box (as we did at last year's LAN), I would highly recommend taking 15A leads from that distro rather than going straight down to 10A.
Do you know what rating the breakers are on that power chain you posted the link to, if present? If it just has 8 or 10A breakers at each outlet you could easily put 15A down the trunk even if doesn't have the right plug on the end. If it doesn't have breakers, all the better.
Something else to consider is a couple of these: http://www.bunnings.com.au/products_product_arlec-15a-4-outlet-safety-switch-portable-power-block_P7050064.aspx
These are rated for 15A total.
Cheers,
[DTK]

Hey,
As I won't be at the next committee meeting, here is some context on the items I have added to the agenda.
[BG3]: Confirm Order of Power Distribution for GigaLAN Pretty self explanatory. Will forward the information at a later date.
[BG3]: Purchase of some power chains for events I am referring to these:

We are borrowing 6 similar to this from Cassa for the Gigalan, however it won't hurt to have more. They will also be useful for when we run our own LANs and at the camp.
