Dear Sam,

We hope you have enjoyed LCA* and your UCC Guest Account "matches".

If you wish to keep the account you can sign up as a paid member for 2014.
We haven't sorted out the membership process for 2014 yet, so the guest account will remain active until someone gets around to doing that.

The earliest that will happen is 2014-01-31, but it might be later, depending on how well reinventing** our entire membership system is going.

The process will probably involve confirming your name, address and contact details,
and a fee of around $25 (or less for students, etc). I am sad to say you may have to fill in a paper form and scan it.

If you don't wish to become a member of UCC, that's fine, but remember that the guest accounts (and all files) will be deleted permanently,
so copy anything important out of your home directory.

You will receive another reminder email with an exact date and instructions on how to become a member at some point.
