[committee] Apologies / going to be late

The earliest I'll be able to get there is about 50 minutes from now, so I
think there's no real point of me going to uni. Apologies again, I won't be
attending the meeting.
For my report, I probably would say something like:
There were freshers at camp
The freshers who were at camp liked camp (except for the cold)
Therefore the freshers are happy
