What I ultimately said (and motioned) in the committee meeting was as 
follows:
"If the power supply is found dead at the wheel meeting, we will purchase 
the one provided prior to the next committee meeting."

Ultimately this failed because no one seconded.

There was also discussion of replacing robotnik with a Raspberry Pi, or 
this, or that, or the other.
