Go ahead.
I care not at all.
It is identical to the last apology I gave;
and to one given by other club members, in the past.
I have a very solid reason I couldn't be at the cleanup,
and 3 further less solid reasons (but still reasons that have been
accepted in the past).
I don't however feel the need to share them with you.
I don't really feel committee has any need for that information.
SOC doesn't require that information when you apologize for not sending
anyone to a SOC meeting, and punishment for that is hundreds of dollars
of lost grants.
There is little reason for UCC to require it when punishment is loosing
the "privilege" of being able to hold to room open for others, and of
having one's activities interrupted to put money on someone else's coke
account.
The contextual definition of an apology, is not one of excusing ones self,
but simply of informing the host that you are unable to be there.
"*apologies* [/plural/] a message that you send to a meeting to say that
you will not be able to come to the meeting:
/ Edward can't be here today, but he sends his apologies./"/
/
Go ahead and remove me from door, if you want.
Kind Regards
[*OX]
