Good morning,

I am reaching out as I believe students in this society may be interested in Glencore Graduate or Vacation Program opportunities.  I am hoping you will be able to assist with sharing amongst your members the opportunities available both within Coal and Metals.


The Glencore Graduate Program is a 2 year fixed term program, supported by a structured professional development program.  Opportunities exist in our Glencore Coal Assets business in QLD and NSW, and Glencore Copper/Zinc Assets in QLD and NT, based regionally on our mine-sites.  Applications are currently open and will close 15th April 2018.  It is important for students to be aware that in order to apply for both Coal and Copper /Zinc programs they will need to submit separate applications to each of these vacancies.

Applications for the Glencore Vacation Program will open on the 16th April 2018.  Our paid vacation program is designed to give students an opportunity to experience the industry, live in a regional community and develop valuable skills during the university break from December to February.  Glencore assists students with accommodation and travel to site during this program.

Attached is further information regarding these programs.

Students who perhaps aren't ready to apply this year are encouraged to register for a 'Job Alert Profile' to ensure they are alerted, via email, to Glencore job opportunities that match their interests.
