Dear Tavern staff,

I have a few questions regarding a couple of events that are coming up
in terms of catering and/or venue hire at the UWA Tavern.

The University Computer Club will be holding its Anniversary dinner on
Friday 5th October, starting at 6pm and finishing around 10pm, with
expected attendance of around 25 people. Would it be possible to get a
quote on venue hire for the evening? Also what options are available for
catering and is there a discounted menu available for bulk orders?
Ideally we would like to have snacks/finger from 6pm, and a main meal
served at 7pm.

We are also organising a "Cameron Hall-oween" party which will likely
take place in the Club Collaborative Zone (CCZ) and will be held one
evening during the week of Halloween - at this point the details are yet
to be decided and depend on what we can arrange in terms of venues and
catering. A similar event was held last year and I believe that we were
able to purchase alcohol from the Tavern on the agreement that any
excess could be bought back by the Tav at no additional cost. This year,
we hope that it would be possible to arrange something similar, and
ideally also organise catering through the Tav (and if possible have the
food delivered directly to the CCZ).

As we are uncertain about the levels of attendance for the Halloween
party and will be selling tickets at the door, I would like to inquire
if it would be possible to give only a ballpark figure in advance and
order exact quantities of food on the evening of the event. Last year
around 40 people came, however given the recent downturn in event
attendance generally across Cameron Hall clubs we would like to take all
reasonable steps to ensure we do not end up with either vast quantities
of uneaten food or unhappy/starving partygoers.

I look forward to hearing back.

Best regards,
