We’re on the hunt for digital talent at your university now that
applications have opened for the Queensland Government 2019 IT Graduate
Program

Applications close Monday 23 July.
The Queensland Chief Information Office (QGCIO), which manages the program,
is seeking your assistance to get the word out to final year students at
your university.
Attached to this email are a series of shareable resources to distribute
through your student networks, including an A4 poster, social media posts,
images and newsletter copy.
Your help sharing this message across electronic emails and social media
platforms will help us to identify great candidates from your university
and support them to find new employment opportunities with the Queensland
Government.
As one of the largest employers in Queensland, the IT Graduate Program
takes up to 50 graduates each year in 27 roles

WHO CAN APPLY
Students with an undergraduate or postgraduate degree graduating in 2018 or
who graduated in 2017. We accept students from IT and non-IT disciplines,
such as engineering, design, business, law, finance, marketing and more.
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
Starting February 2019, the IT Graduate Program provides students with
training, support and mentoring to establish their career in the Queensland
Government. A high number of graduates go on to gain established careers
and growth opportunities following the conclusion of the program.
It offers:
a two-year temporary contract as an AO3 starting at $58,638 per year plus
super
professional development, training and networking opportunities
a tablet to use on the program and at work
mentoring to help guide their career.
