[committee] Application to Door Group

Hi Committee,

I am emailing to apply to Door Group.
The reason that I would like to apply for door is quite selfish. I would
like to be added to door so that I can study from UCC at times that I
choose. Often I am at university fairly early in the morning and I would
like access to the room at the times that are convenient for me.

As a side to that, if I added to Door Group, I will likely be here earlier
than current door members on some days, and so be able to open the room
earlier than it otherwise would be.

I believe myself to be a trustworthy and upstanding member of UCC and I
would hope that I can set a good example for other members whilst in the
club room.

The UCC Committee Regulations 2018 exist and I pledge to uphold the
responsibilities of Door members in their current form, including but not
limited to representing the club to current and prospective members,
opening and overseeing the use of the room and maintaining a welcoming and
helpful atmosphere in the club room while ensuring the safety and security
of club members and the property of UCC.

I acknowledge the existence of UCC Committee Regulations 2018 Appendix B:
Door Group Manual and will check it if ever I am in doubt as to the
procedures of door group actions.
