Hi committee,
Could this be a potential joint event with other Cameron Hall clubs?

Hi Felix,
I’m just following up on my conversation with UCC through the club’s
Facebook page about getting the club involved with Oaktree’s Live Below
the Line in 2019.
To give a quick recap, Live Below the Line challenges people to live on
$2 or less a day for two or five days to raise money and awareness for
people living in extreme poverty, and the limited opportunities and
choices they have. This is the tenth year of the challenge, and in that
time over 65,000 people have participated to raise over $11.2 million!
There are two main ways uni clubs can get involved with Live Below the
Line:
1. Create a team for you club to take the challenge together. This is a
really fun and wholesome team building activity for club members, where
you can have fun supporting each other through the challenge of eating
on $2 or less a day!
2. Have the club host a Dine Below the Line event! Dine Below the Line
is where you host a dinner party and feed guests on $2 or less per head,
and ask the guests to contribute the amount they would pay for a meal at
a restaurant. You could host this as a club for other people, or within
the club itself, or if you were interested we could help you team up
with other UWA clubs that are keen to have a cross-club dinner!
If either of those sound interesting or if you have any other questions
please let me know and I’ll send through some more information! If not,
there are also some lower capacity ways you can get involved, which I’m
happy to discuss further with you.
Thank you again for your interest in Live Below the Line, and I look
forward to hearing from you!
Kind regards,
-----
