No worries.
Did you hear the answer, or was that after PAC?
I didn't hear the answer directly; it was given privately to Annette of Unigames. As I understand the answer was not particularly helpful.
What does "Funding issues from Lion Nathan foundation" mean? Also, are
clubs still allowed to apply for a liquor permit from UWA Security?
The Lion Nathan grants are given to clubs by the Guild in support of significant events. From https://myuwastudentguild.com/clubs-societies/finance/funding-grants/ (finding this page took a bit of digging):
Club Event Support Grants (also known as Lion Nathan Grants) are a prospective grant awarded to clubs running a new or significantly approved event. If you have big ideas for an event but don’t have the funds to guarantee its success read through the treasurer handbook or contact the SOC treasurer for more information. This grant is available on an ongoing basis and can be applied for throughout the whole year. To apply fill in the online form. Feel free to include any additional information about the event.
My understanding is that the money for these grants comes from an outside funding source and Guild have had difficulties getting the money promptly to pay them out recently. They said they hoped to have this issue resolved shortly but this doesn't affect UCC regardless.

Clubs are still able to apply for liquor permits from UWA Security. I don't believe anything has changed in that regard recently.

Cheers,

Thank you for this.
