Hi Alexie,
Thank you for your email.
I will follow up with SOC with regards to your paperwork.
As to your question on what you default to, I am a little confused. Are you referring to the SOC tenancy rules?
Kind regards,
Bre Shanahan

Subject: Tenancy Document(s) - request
Good Afternoon,
I just wanted to ask if you could follow this up for UCC with Guild or SOC?
Our club currently does not have a signed copy of our previous tenancy agreement (which expired in January, I believe!), as SOC may have the only one, we have requested an electronic copy to be sent to UCC.
We also just wanted to check what clubs "default" to in terms of tenancy legislation after a fixed lease period has expired?
If you could help follow this up for us, that would be greatly appreciated!
Kind Regards,
Alexie
UCC Secretary

Subject: Request for electronic copy of last tenancy agreement for UCC
To: <soc-president at guild.uwa.edu.au>
Cc: <soc-secretary at guild.uwa.edu.au>, <secretary at guild.uwa.edu.au>
Good Afternoon,
Looking through the University Computer Club's files, UCC has been unable to track down the last signed tenancy agreement which I believe expired at the end of January this year. I can see that SOC asked for a copy a year or so ago, so I am unsure if we gave SOC our only hard copy.
For our records, is Guild able to send us an electronic copy of the signed tenancy agreement (the one that has expired), as well as advise us what agreement(s) currently apply to the expired tenancy space?
I am familiar with Residential Tenancy Act, but I am unsure what applies here, given Guild also rent the space from the University. From what I understand, all current tenants will be remaining in their current space until September, but we are unsure what formal agreements currently apply for the expired tenancy.
Please let me know if the Societies Council or Guild are able to forward this information, as UCC should have a copy of these items for our club records.
Thanks for your time,
Kind Regards,
Alexie Wallace
/UCC Secretary
