Hi Committee/Wheel,

Just forwarding what I wrote to the Cisco Product Grant Program, for
posterity. This was a web form, hence the breakdown.

Organization/Program Description: The University Computer Club of UWA is a student-run club that exists for the advancement of computer science and technologies. We are an incorporated not-for-profit association that is a registered
charity, and has existed since 1974. Our members include students, graduates, and members of the public. We have a clubroom on the University of Western Australia campus where we run our own servers and desktops. Members use these
facilities for learning, experimentation, personal projects and other coding. UCC members have contributed to (or created!) many open-source projects, including dropbear, fish-shell, julia, rust, squid and iodine, and many have gone
on to work with IT companies around the globe. For more info, check out our website at https://www.ucc.asn.au and our wiki at https://wiki.ucc.asn.au

How They Heard of Cisco: I performed a web search

Reviewed Policies/Guidelines? Yes, my organization/program meets Cisco's requirements
Program Alignment with Cisco Guidelines: The University Computer Club has a strong focus on creating educational opportunities and fostering innovation. Aside from our day-to-day provision of hardware and software that members would
otherwise be unable to access, we also run numerous workshops and tech-talk presentations throughout the year. As a student funded club, we are heavily reliant on donations of hardware to keep our services running and reliable.

Questions/Comments: We are seeking a donation of a 10G switch to replace our failing 4507 switch, and a 1RU 10G switch to replace our ageing 4506 uplink switch.
