Hi all,

Please see forwarded the email from Tenancy that we have also successfully obtained additional storage for the club (location yet to be determined).

I have also confirmed with Tenancy that we won't be appealing that result - not that that was a hard call 🙂.

Cheers,

James [MPT]

Subject: Results of Your Tenancy Application

Dear Club Representatives,

The Tenancy Committee have now completed the full reallocation process, and the Guild Executive have approved and ratified these decisions as of 12/1/20.

On behalf of the Tenancy Committee I am pleased to inform you that your application for storage was successful, and that you will be granted tenancy for 2021 (a full year). A contract will be sent out before the end of the month for you to read, understand, sign and return by the 1st of February 5:00PM.

As the Tenancy Committee are currently in the process of potentially building more locker spaces, the exact location of your locker has not yet been finalised. Please hold off on returning keys, obtaining keys or moving into a locker until a final round of confirmation emails are released.

As the appeals process is now open, allocated clubrooms and storage may be subject to change. All allocations will be finalised by the end of the appeals process, on the 26th of January.

If you are unsatisfied with the outcome of the allocations and would like to appeal, please endeavour to email me between the 12th to the 26th of January. In this email, please provide a comprehensive level of detail so that we may best address your concerns. Any inappropriate language or behaviour towards members of the Guild Council or the Tenancy Committee will not be accepted, and you will risk losing any tenancy allocation.

The appeals process will first be reviewed by the Tenancy Committee. If the club continues to be unsatisfied by the Tenancy Committee’s reasoning, the appeal will be tabled for Guild Executive. The Guild Executive decision is final.

Please refer to the Tenancy Allocation Policy for details regarding appealing.

If you are not planning on appealing your result, please reply to this email as soon as possible with a confirmation that you have read and accepted this allocation result.

If you have any other grievances with the allocation process that don’t involve appeals, please feel free to contact me as well.

Kind regards,
Gar-Hou (Max) Tran
