[committee] Australian IT Student Union

[WIRED (FITS)]

Hi James and UCC committee,

My IT club (Monash WIRED), and the other IT student clubs around Australia are going to start a union of tertiary education student IT clubs, in order to help us share our strengths, run events in cooperation with one another, and generally to improve our clubs for our members. The aim is to be minimally invasive to each club, so as not to take up lots of time and effort from us all.

So far it appears that many clubs will be joining us (so far, none have said no!), and I have been talking to clubs about what features they think would make this work the best it can, what features it leave out, concerns they have, and opportunities they see in this union. I would love to have a chat with you to do the same, and explain the plan that we currently have.
