[committee] An invitation: auDA member networking event - 31 August, Perth

Hello,

Firstly, a quick introduction...
I work for au Domain Administration Ltd<http://www.auda.org.au/>. (auDA) the administrator of Australia's .au domain. Essentially auDA is responsible for managing Australia's part of the Internet. We are endorsed by the Federal Government to work with industry and consumers to license and regulate the .au on behalf of all Australians in support of a trusted, free, secure, global internet. auDA is always looking for opportunities to engage with those with an interest in the Australian Internet community.

The auDA membership team will be in Perth in a few weeks (August 31 & September 1) to host a member networking event on Wednesday 31 August. The event is free to attend (it is also free to join auDA<https://www.auda.org.au/join-auda/apply-now>), and we would love it if representatives from the UWA University Computer Club could join us on the night. I'd also welcome the opportunity to meet with the University Computer Club; to get an understanding of what sort of activities you deliver; and, to discuss opportunities for auDA to support the club now and in the future. Alternatively, I'm happy to join you for a Teams call in the meantime if that's more convenient.
