Hi Nick
Thanks for the additional info. This seems like quite a significant project in a small amount of time. Would tomorrow anytime after 1:30pm suit you for a meeting on campus to discuss further?
Best
Xavier

Hi, Xavier! As a rough summary:
We (the University Computer Club, UWA) are turning 50 years old this
year, and were hoping to have a manuscript written, detailing our
club's history. When we turned 25, we commissioned a 10,000 word piece,
attached, by Emma née Hawkes, UWA alumna. We were hoping to have another
manuscript made, roughly the same size - updating the last 25 years.
Take a quick look at the document (also on our website at
https://www.ucc.gu.uwa.edu.au/aboutucc/history.ucc ) - would you be free
for a meeting on campus? When? and feel free to drop by our clubroom,
second floor above the Guild Tavern, anytime. The paid clock can start
ticking immediately and we can pin down the scope a little more in person.
A draft would be needed within the next four weeks, including a night
of interviewing our club members at our 50th Anniversary Dinner on
Saturday the 21st of September, 6pm, University Club. Your ticket and
dinner would of course be covered by us.
We have:
- an email questionnaire prepared and can send the you the answers through
this email address right here - tell me if you get two copies of this one!
(unless you want to ask more directly)
- a folder of images to choose from as you see fit to add to the manuscript
- plenty of other handy information we already have such as a history
of committee member names on our wiki, https://wiki.ucc.asn.au/Committee
Thanks,
Nick Bannon, UCC life member, ex-Secretary
