Dear Pru, Jacqui and Helen

Thank you for your reply to Seb, my vice president. In reply to your
question about specific skills, we do not believe our project requires
someone with a specific technical background. We have looked at the
register you sent and do not know if anyone on your list would be
affordable for our budget. And so we are hoping to find a level 1 historian
available for a week's worth of work.

A draft would be needed within the next six weeks, including a night of
interviewing our club members at our 50th Anniversary Dinner on Saturday
the 21st of September, 6pm. The historians ticket and dinner would of
course be covered by us.

In regards to your question about sources, we have a previous 25th
anniversary manuscript draft (previously attached), but we have a table of
content we would like to be included in your 50th manuscript draft. This
table includes:
- Record of committee members
- Why the club was founded
- Brief timeline
- History of awards and prominent members
- Chronologically history via decades
- Major events we have and will run
- Interviews we would like to be conducted at our dinner

We have an email questionnaire prepared and will send the historian the
answers, as well as the information we already have such as committee
member names. We also have a folder of images that we would like the
historian to choose from as they see fit to add to the manuscript.

To recap: We (the club) are turning 50 years old this year, and we were
hoping to have a manuscript written, detailing our club's history. When we
turned 25, we commissioned a 10,000 word piece telling our history
(attached). We were hoping to have another manuscript made, roughly the
same size - updating the last 25 years.

Kind Regards,
Grace Fowler
University Computer Club of UWA 2024 President
