To the UCC Committee,
I would like to apply to be a door member for Year 50 AUCC (after UCC),
also known to the commoners as 2024 CE.
As a club that has meant and done a lot for me, I would like to be able
to hold the UCC Clubroom and to be able to help the UCC committee with
the admin tasks of setting up member accounts, adding credit to
dispense, and ensuring that people are behaving in a respectable manner
to each other.
I have and understood UCC's regulations regarding the Door group, and
I'm a semi-active member of wheel, having done a number of menial tasks
for the group in the recent past. I also have recently taken an interest
in helping with the website (which I can already help out with as a
Wheel member, but I think it bears repeating as it demonstrates my
interest in being an active member of the club).
I am also currently the Pride Co-Officer for the 111th Guild Year and I
have been the UCC Vice President in 2023, Science Union Secretary for
the latter half of 2023, and been on the UniSFA committee for the years
2022-2023 as OCM and then Treasurer.
I am quite confident in my ability to uphold the UCC regulations,
including warning/dooring members of the committee if the need arises. I
operate on a "first assume good faith" model, and from there I operate
on a three-strikes policy for repeated, non-major rules violations. If
the need were to arise to abandon this model for an immediate
dooring/final warning I am confident in my ability to recognize these
situations.
Thank you for your time,
Lorenzo Iannuzzi (23315008)
Member of the UCC Wheel Group.
