There is some reason AFAIK we still shut when we do.

Why do you want to be on door?
Long time member, former exec. I will be around the club much more this year, would like the opportunity to keep UCC open later at night (I have a pass that allows me to be
in CH until midnight) as well as weekends. My position as a unigames committee member as well as actively running events on a weekly basis means that I will
often be around to ensure this.

What difference will putting you on door make?
Consider myself more able to uphold door policy than some other door members. As stated above, my pass will allow me to keep UCC open later, and I will very
often be in on weekends (Saturdays for sure at this stage), so there will be someone to open UCC if other members wish to come in.
Please briefly describe how the door system works (what runs on what, what programs, what hardware).
Snack machine hardware talks to Merlot, which will dispense door using dispense software. Merlot communicates with a arduino chip, which then releases the door lock.
If for some reason you cannot dispense door from the snack machine, how else should you open the door (there are at least 2 methods)?
