It should be mentions that SOC/Tenency budgetted and approved for
this to be done, last year.
but by a mistake the Red 6 circuit was upgraded.

The Red 1 circuit is shared by UCC, Unigames, and (we think) Unisfa.
As a short term measure last year, Unigames put in the rather scary
looking "Flying extension cable", to get power from outside the
clubroom.
I'll also mention that Unigames has taken to (over the last few
years), installing our own
sliding bolts on our cupboards.
The is a long term issue, that all the existing bolts on the left
side of the hall cupboards are designed to be used at the bottom,
but are in fact install on the top (so the bolt falls out under
gravity).
A solid outside lock (such as a bolt, or a staple) makes the
uselessness of the one side door bolts a nonissue though
<div class="moz-text-flowed" style="font-family: -moz-fixed;

Here are the UCC's suggestions for the maintenance of Cameron
Hall for the short, medium and long term.

Short Term
- Unigames should be disconnected from circuit Red 1 and
connected to a
low-load circuit in the Guild Communications Room, to prevent
power
overload as circuit breakers will cut power to the UCC
essential
services in our server room.
- UniSFA's leaking ceiling needs to be repaired.
- The high windows on both sides of Cameron Hall are currently
jammed and
need to be fixed.
- The vandalism on the beams in the loft need to be painted
over.
- Whirly-birds need to be installed in Cameron Hall to improve
ventilation.
- Hasp & Staple locks should be installed on all cupboards
in Cameron
Hall. http://www.directa.co.uk/product_images/SP50L.jpg
- Repair the cupboard and sinks in the loft.

Medium Term
- The 3-phase socket outlet in the loft should be split to
provide extra
circuits, or redistribute power circuits amongst clubs.
- The main stairwell in Cameron Hall needs to be recarpeted.
- New cupboards should be installed in the stairwell outside the
old Solid
Gold clubroom.
- The large hole in the roof above the UCC clubroom needs to be
fixed.
- Pest control.

Long Term
- Fix all holes in the walls and repaint Cameron Hall.
- Swipe card access to Cameron Hall for out of hours access.
