<br>
It's true that the system wasn't really minuted in as much
detail as [NEO] (and [SAS]) explained it.<br>
But all of committee (who have been going to meetings) knew
about it.<br>
<br>
I guess you could complain at us for us not consulting with coke
group, but there is an <plug>AGM ON TUESDAY</plug>
after which this will not be our problem... :P<br>

As long as [NEO] is still the Treasurer, I heartily endorse this system.
With luck, it will annoy someone enough to have them nominate for Treasurer and change it after the <plug>AGM ON TUESDAY</plug>. As long as the job gets done, the Treasurer can do whatever they want.
Incidentally, I myself will be trialing this exciting system by depositing 15c in three 5c pieces at the first opportunity...

This is way beyond the bag numbering system, which only required users
to put money in a pre-numbered bag and put that number in the `dispense
add` comments. That system worked well until we had a year with a nearly
non-existant treasurer. This new system...sucks.

This is basically just the bag numbering system all over again, and that didn't work.
If you don't trust your coke members to be putting money on people's accounts then you should reconsider who you put on coke.

This system is obtuse and cumbersome for the people who regularly put money on peoples accounts. Frankly it really discourages putting money on peoples accounts.
Also all this hand writing is horribly against UCC's style!
tl;dr this system sucks and I hate it.

Hello Coke Members,
Our somewhat alive Treasurer Mark Anderson has decided to implement a new depositing system for dispense to allow for better tracking of money.
The system will still require logging into a server with dispense and running the command:
dispense acct username +amount "money in safe"
However, before adding that money to the safe, the verified amount must be put into one of the envelopes near the safe, sealed and have the following written on it:
Door Member (username)
Account Name
Description
Amount Deposited
Date and Time
Finally, put the envelope in the safe.
A template envelope is attached to the safe for reference.
Deal with it until next committee,
