    <p>Hi committee,</p>

    <p>I attended the Societies Council meeting on behalf of UCC

      tonight. I took notes (pseudo-minutes) during the meeting so we

      have a definite record of things that were brought up (I have

      found that SOC minutes often take a fair amount of time to be

      released normally).</p>

    <p>Please see the attached file. The main event was affiliations and

      disaffiliations; there were also a number of reports given.</p>

    <p>Points of interest/comment:</p>

    <ul>

      <li>I would like to know why the treasurer training deadline is

        put at a point that is awkward for any clubs that have

        beginning-of-year AGMs (which includes us but also a significant

        number of other clubs).</li>

      <li>I was disappointed to see the question about elevators for

        Cameron Hall was deferred to privately after the meeting.</li>

      <li>Guild are after feedback on their communication; this would be

        a good time to raise the issue of Facebook-only communication.<br>

      </li>
