- [FVP] Let's figure out what we want to do with the club
- There are a number of issues I see with how the club currently operates, and its culture:
- Many people on the edges and outside of the club see it as unwelcoming
- Many members do not feel comfortable in UCC who do not have a problem in any other Cameron Hall clubs
- Commit to proactively working to improve the inclusivity of the club environment
- Commit to seeking advice from members, other clubs and the Guild to learn how we can better support women, LGBTQI+ people and minority groups in club spaces
- Commit to developing and actioning a plan to address these issues
- [FVP] Mailing list & Discord/IRC moderation
- List admin passwords were changed and emergency moderation enabled
- Intended to stop people posting things which were inappropriate
- There should be a proper code of conduct for online messaging
- Intermediary suggestion: committee reserves the right to kick/ban people (temporarily) on reasonable grounds for posting inappropriate content
- Any bans for online platforms should be reviewed at the next committee meeting, similar to doorings
- Impartially moderated meeting to discuss issues
- [FVP] proposed it by email to stop a flamewar
- Maybe this doesn't need to be separate, we have a general meeting coming up soonish (see above)
- We also have regular committee meetings where people can provide input
- It was proposed primarily to address concerns that people's input wasn't being heard, or was being censored

- [FVP] Complaint resolution regulations
- Currently, we do not have a specific process for reporting or resolving complaints
- Much of that comes down to door members
- We should formalise the process so that members can report complaints to committee in a confidential fashion
- Suggestion: make a google form such that committee are informed when things are submitted
- Regulation proposal:

- The Committee shall provide an accessible and confidential means for members to report inappropriate behaviour
- In response to a complaint, any committee member may request immediate disciplinary action be taken by a member of Door or Wheel, including;
- Dooring
- Account locking
- A formal notice shall be issued, in confidence, to all parties to the complaint within 7 days of the lodgement of the complaint
- Complaints are to be discussed at the next committee meeting
